I stated before - it is not a racist Argument- you and others always "fly the Racist! Racist! flag". It is one of Nationalism- the Holidays you example DO NOT have the same Connotation as Cinco does- they are NOT Nationalistic
It is also aan Assimilation vs. Non Assimilation (with a touch of Cultural Identity argument added ) in due course- but I believe the second is way too early to tell , as the outcome will determine the Validity or Non-Validity of the argument

I can guarantee you that nobody except for you cares what color your skin is or what language you choose to speak. They do care if you place loyalty to another country over the one you are a citizen of. The racism argument really makes no sense. If you really want to be identified as a "mexican" instead of an American, then why do you want to live in the United States?

I think it does make sense- it is used by groups that wish to Demonize and put on "the fringe" arguments that counter theirs, and that do not agree. Usually those people fit the definition in these "racist " objections of "Facist"- which is Ironic- as they are siding with an idiology supported by racist....

This has nothing to do with being a citizen of another country or loyalty to another country. This is about somebody attacking my ethnic identity (I think EL MINERO spoke volumes about that) me figthing back. Don't muddle this with being undocumented. It has nothing to do with being American or Mexican, I am a proud American of Mexican descent (hell, I fought for this country in Iraq - twice - still question my loyalty?) who is very proud of both roots and will not stand for someone insulting who I am. You get sick of people talking shit about who you are and you can call me a biggot for defending myself, I could give a rats ass. Just do the same when a white person does that too - I challenge you.
