Arrived shortly after5 p.m. Sunday, place was not crowded, service was very slow.beans were good,pico de gallo was too salty ,rice was so, so and the mahi mahi was not good. The longostina(small shrimps) in the sauce were very though.Our friend ordered the mahi mahi also and she had the same complaint.Her husband ordered the chicken and it was burnt at the bottom. We were going to have dessert but was presented w/ the bill instead of being asked if we wanted dessert so we left & went to another restaurant for dessert.

What happened to good old Tex-Mex food like Fidellos Tostados, Pollo con Calabacita, real cheese enchiladas instead of the bogus "Enchiladas Suizas"?
The problem with a lot of restaurants now is that they are moving away from the true and tried basics which have been served up by all of the mamacitas for generations.

Amorcito's is the best mexican food in San Antonio. Fresh, delicious, and the service is great. For a new restaurant they have exceeded expectations. Would recomend to my preacher and father in law.

The first time i went to Amorcito's the food was good but not great(they were very new). I went back a few days and could not believe the change a few months makes. The fajitas were perfect and tender and everything else we had was awesome as well. Drinks are strong and service was perfect. We have found our favorite mexican restaurant!

Service is marginal. Food quality is average. Margaritas are some of the worst in the city. They use a very thin premix for the base. Ordered the Steak Ranchero, med rare. Got med well. Waited so long, it was easier to eat what I got. For for the rest of the family the consensus was not to ever return. Go to Rio Mambo for much better food and service.

The food there is great and probably some of the best in the city.

My family and i have eaten ther many times and can not believe how fresh the food always comes out. The servers are all helpful and the atmosphere is perfect. For only being there 7 months it is amazing and i am sure with time it will only get better. We are very excited to have them in S.A.
