It's not clear from the article whether or not any police cases were tainted from Mikel's drug involvement. I wonder...

Typical. Cops are out of control! Don't believe...drive HWY 70E or W of the city! Thye nearly cause an accident EVERY day by standing in the middle of a highway pointing at speeders in their cute motorcycle outfits (some of you need to diet!). Also, recently got pulled over for "not wearing seat belt"..thought they were not allowed to stop you for that alone now! Cops: behind a badge, above the law!

Well, before you speak, why don't you read the state statute!! Cops can stop you for not wearing your seatbelt. Why wouldn't they be able to. You also need to learn how to spell. "Thye." It is "They."

You are just upset because you got a TICKET. If you would obey the law, you wouldn't get a ticket. They are doing their jobs and if people like you would pay attention, there wouldn't be any accidents.

Also, it is an interstate, not a HIGHWAY!

cops selling drugs to rollerskaters... i give him five minutes with my ball bat and save us all the money he will cost us in jail. the death penalty is what he deserved. no respect never have never will......and this is why

wow , police are to be respected and looked up to...why would he sell dope to kids anyway? this is a major blow to my confidence in the law community. how many others knew about this and ignored it. they too are lawbreakers. drugs to kids should be life in prison at the least. there is no excuse and an absolute abuse of power. i am sickened by the thought of it and feel the need for a overhaul of the entire police departments in every state including indiana...lets random check the police dept , lets have some other outside agency investigate the ones who are protecting us .......let freedom ring and let the crooked cops and criminals rot in the jails.

And here I thought kids looked up to cops, maybe I am wrong in assuming that if a cop (ex or not) is selling drugs then the kids that are looking up to him think that it's ok to do the same. Then we have our own little drug cartel. Just 10 years? If the average citizen did this he/she wouldn't see the lihght of day for many more years than this guy got. The only ray of sunshine here is IF they put him in general population, and one of his convicts is in there with him. I wonder who will be the pitcher and who will be tha catcher in this situation? How true, all of it. Reflective of a changed society. Should be required reading for all who keep crying "CHANGE" when there is no alternate plan. Change can be good if it's an improvement but change simply for the sake of change when it offers no benefit or is even counter-productive is ridiculous.
