Jeff driver shoots motorcyclist in apparent road-rage incident

i truly believe that this woman felt for her life. especially when a stranger completely stops in front of you and approaches your car attemping to cause some type of harm to you. This man provoked her and she had know other choice at the time but, to protect herself. He should have kept on going about his business since he was already in front of her.

lets face reality this guy is a hot head he has a history of doing unlawful things. I do understand that he is a white male but in this situation he is wrong. i have read lots of other people comments from indiana and all i see is racist comments it dosen't matter about the color of your skin and white american's need to get over it, and you white folks in indiana need to quit living behind the moon its 2008 its time for a change... so get with the program. this guy deserved what he got, luckly he did get killed trying to be a bully. so take your racists comments somewhere else and get a life, it dosen't matter what you say anyways. as a matter of fact you weren't there. don't take up for him just because he's white. Now Grow up. Yes we will march is there is an injustice. we are tired of our black male and female going to jail and prison because of the color of there skin. So yes we will protest. i believe most whites in indaina want this black women in jail because she is a african american i am a white american speaking and I think this guy was intending to harm this lady everyone the whites in indiana is saying what this poor black woman should have done but, why not say what this white man should have done he did ask for it when he approached her suv in a hostile way. yes she was afriad. so don't play the white and black race card. she was protecting herself aswell as her son. If she must go to court on this matter then so be it but she have rights just as he do. stop the predjuiced. We know most of us are angry because of the african american nominee runner-up for president of the united states. if a black president is elected then we must really be ready for change. the way things are going now barack obama just might be the next president. just like the other writer said get with the program. either you a solution to the problem or you are a problem to the solution. black are already apart of the mainstream. they are everywhere. from the white house into our corp ceo's so don't under estimate them at all. we must start to see the light the world is changing as you stand.

No one wants her to go to jail because she is black. That is such an ignorant statement. Can we look at this without using race...I mean please. The woman shot a man. Was it in self defense...who knows. All I know is, why didn't she just roll up her windows and lock the door. If he then busted out the window...then I think she would have been justified. I would have simply driven off.

I told my husband the same thing the other day. In that intersection there is atleast 2 ways she could have pulled away from traffic into Thortons lot and out the other way or like you said lock the doors. She obviosly is trigger happer, she just pulled a gun on someone recently and got into a dispute at a ball game. At the very least they need to take her gun permit away from her. She obviosly does not know when to use it.

This woman had no right to use deadly force, period!!! If Indiana concealed carry laws are in any way similar to Florida, she would only have the right to use deadly force to protect herself if she was reasonably in fear for her life or the life of her son. Now tell me how she would be reasonable in fear for her life or her son's when she is inside an SUV and the biker is outside. If he had shown a weapon that could reasonably penatrate the glass or steel or if he had threatened to use one, then that would be a different matter. This woman was recently given her carry permit and that would mean that she has completed a concealed weapon class and completed the appropriate application for it. No way. This woman used excessive deadly force and she needs to go to prison for it. It is not the Wild West anymore!!!
