Sadly, most of them can't write a coherent, literate sentence. Worse, a lot of them are in law enforcement for all the wrong reasons -- to seek thrills, hit on women they pull over, push around people they don't like. The small agencies simply don't pay enough to attract high quality individuals. The smart candidates get on with better agencies. The losers take what they can get. Most of these unprofessional little departments are led by marshals or "chiefs" who have nothing more than a high school diploma or GED and they came from the same collection of boneheads as their rank and file. It's a real problem. You "used to be a prosecutor" huh? Before, what... you got fired for being an idiot? I hope you didn't make vague, unsubstantiated blanket remarks like this in your closing arguments. It's clear to me why you're no longer practicing. What is not clear to me... how you passed the Bar exam in the first place, if you did. I bet you are just like My Cousin Vinny.

What a joke! What do you expect??? Oh! We're suppose to feel as though the police are there to serve and protect! That's why this family feels so safe after the local Kosciosko Co. Sheriff's dept. has helped place our grandson back into his abusers hands. Our grandson will now know first hand that not all police protect children and actually contribute to their abuse. What a pity!

Clearly demonstrating you small town cops are too dumb to do the job, is your inferring from my disclosure that I'm a "former prosecutor," that I no longer practice law. I'm in "private practice" now. It's what most "former prosecutors" do, Barney. I'd venture to guess I make more in 2 weeks than you make in a year zipping around in your little toy police car. By the way, if you watch My Cousin Vinny closely, you'll notice that he's also in private practice, that he has a very hot girlfriend, and...he wins his first case -- a murder trial -- on the other guy's home court! Pretty darn fine lawyering, if you ask me.

I know, I know... wishful thinking. Sincerely, Ol' Barn. PS: I seriously doubt that a self-proclaimed wealthy and wonderful private lawyer such as yourself could land a hottie like Marissa Tome. You might get the occasional Internet date (with 13 a year old boy) but I'd say that's about it. Now get back to praising yourself online. God knows, you probably don't have any lawyering to do.

I heard that this cop was the one who bought the local skate rink. Does anyone know if it was really him? If so, he's one sick person to be selling to the kids there after he told the parents that he bought it to clean it up from all the drugs and alcohol.

"Badges? We don't need no stinking badges!" I have a thought. Let's just get rid of all of the cops, and see what happens. Sadly, there are a few bad apples, same as anywhere. I know that most police agencies do everything possible to "weed out" the bad apples.
