This case is not over by any means. The Supreme Court has it in their hands to rule on. They most likely will rule in David's favor.
Maybe Justice will finally be served!! |

He is an innocent man.
The Supreme Court will rule in his favor soon. |
|||
Why do you think he is connected to the crime? He is barely middle class, not rich. What is the comparison with 'buy my way out OK, OJ"? |

I live in the Scotland, UK. Can you state why you think he is connected to the crime, or are you unable to do so? Presubably you have some reason for your belief or are people guilty based on your 'feeling' about them? No 'innocent until proven then'? |

He's been proven guilty TWICE by a panel of his peers. What more do you need? |

1 Thank you for your reply. I quite see your point! This is a common misconception. It might be helpful if I explain, as supporters of Mr Camm tend not to be taken seriously due to presumed bias. I am not invested in Mr Camm’s guilt or innocence. Like you, I only want the truth. If a trial is overturned, the conviction does not stand. Verdicts may be overturned for a number of reasons, from misleading evidence to ‘technicalities’. They are often technicalities for good reason. Mr Camm’s case is important to the USA and internationally, IMO, for a number of reasons. It is a remarkable case for being such a classic example of so many errors. For this reason, Camm2 is under review and this verdict too may be found to be unsafe, or wrong. The first verdict was overturned on Appeal in 2004 and he was re-tried and convicted again. The prosecutor in Camm2, Mr Henderson, described the second trial as very fair. I believe it was nothing of the sort, but that is not the only reason for interest in this case. This and the JonBenet Ramsey case are examples of particularly severe failures of the US judicial system. The UK has worked hard to improve a similar situation regarding wrongful convictions. However, in the UK, it is thought that they may still be running at over 700 per year. Many of those will be criminals convicted of the wrong crime. Others will be entirely innocent. There is no room in one post to explain all. I hope you have a genuine interest and concern for the USA, as have I. These cases help nobody and need to be understood more widely, IMO. I have little time now, but will try to reply to any questions you may have. Or Davesupporter or Southern Belle may be able to offer a link to impartial views? http://crime.about.com/od/death/a/innocence.h... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miscarriage_of_j... |

Actually the Supreme Court has this case now as we speak and will more than likely RULE in David's favor.
I'm sorry if that upsets you however the juries did not see everything they should have. Some jurors also stated "there will always be doubt" That is reasonable doubt. So Either there will be another trial, they may dismiss ALL charges (can't be charged again") or rule that they affirm. BUT after watching the Supreme Court take tgis case, all the Justices were very annoyed at the prosecutor for depriving the jury of all facts! Plus allowing some things in without any evidence at all. Just think about that. Those of you who SAY he will be in prison the rest of his life may be in for a rude awakening |

From:
http://www.truthandjusticedenied.com/Wrongful... “The United States Department of Justice, Bureau of Justice Statistics, admits that statistically 8% to 12% of all state prisoners are either actually or factually innocent.” And Mr Camm seems to be the most obviously wrongly convicted of all. So, apart from the mantra, may I ask what makes Get Real and Guiltyascharged think that Mr Camm is connected to the crime? There appears to be no convincing evidence he was involved? It seems to me that some people want him to be guilty? From: http://www.lawsch.uga.edu/academics/profiles/... “The sobering message of Actual Innocence is that convictions of the innocent are not infrequent in the United States today and that these wrongful convictions are not due to accidents but instead are the result of systemic deficiencies endemic within the criminal justice system.” |
