The inconvenience to all is worth the life it WILL save, hey could even be yours.

Please it doesn't matter what age you are when you pass the test. A moronic five minute test doesn't clearly prove you can drive. How about making the test harder?

I was not surprised to read about the accident. I resided close by for over a decade (thank god not anymore) at this same time a few years back a man was the victim of a fatal hit and run in front of the Dunkin Donuts & 7-11. Also a teenage girl was also killed by drunk driver on Marshall Drive (they use to have flowers on the corner of Henry & Marshall). The list is long. I don't miss hearing the sounds of the sirens and cars racing by my home. It was an ajustment, but one that I am greatful for. There is no one solution to this sad situation but there is definatly a pattern.

I went to HS with Darren Pennenga and it is very saddening to hear that a life was taken so early... he will be missed

I was supposed to be with Darren Pennenga the night he died Darren his wife my girl and I were all supposed to double date at a poetry cafe in Alphabet City, Manhattan

Please it doesn't matter what age you are when you pass the test, its the other driver that you have to watch out for,For everyone thats reads this, that was my daughter Briitney driving the car and my other daughter Kelly was in really bad shape, we almost lost her twice ,It took a year for kelly to heal,God was watching over my two daughters that night and kelly was given a second chance of life,her husband Darren had die that night next to her, you have know ideal what pain and grief that this family has been through,the accident was not Brittney fault,i just wish people would have a heart at not writing nasty comments about who was driving and who's fault it was, do you know how hurtful that is to read, have a heart,i wish know parent goes through what me and my husband went through,Everyday that my daughter's are alive, I know Darren you are watching over kelly and the family we miss you
