Why no charges of mental abuse and child neglect and endangerment? The description of the home sounds like the children were in filth and squalor, I can't believe she won't face such charges soon.

Many people have severe allergies to animals and if they choose not to incur health bills due to roaming pets, so be it. BAM!! If she abducted these pets, well, that's a different story and consequences.
Dear Santa: People like you are the reason laws are enacted to protect the rights of helpless animals. Go ride your reindeer.

this story makes me sick. to take an innocent animal and make it suffer is sick, sick sick.i am assuming they will find the little chahuahua.what has a tiny animal such as this one done to that sadistic women, let alone the other animals who were tortured and killed.this women does not deserve her children and certainly does deserve big prison time. i would like to thank her son for turning this fiend in to the authorites. and last but not least, santa claus you need to close your ignorant mouth

Sad to say I have to agree with you on this one, somewhat. There is a lot of difference between someone who's animal occasionally gets loose and those that believe their pets are the responsibility of the general public. Cats are the worst. So many cat owners feel they have the right to allow their animals to run free spreading disease and damaging property. I feel a person has the legitimate right to defend his property. As I've said before the biggest problem is cats. If a cat is running loose (not just temporarily escaped) then I consider it vermin in the same class as rats and mice and I will react accordingly. My suggestion is for people to take responsibility for their animals, if not someone else will. Now that being said what happened in this case is a totally different story. This was a heinous crime from the word go. I'm just curious at this point as to how much her children are going to burden society at some point in their lives. I believe they have been psychologically damaged. Sad, very sad.
so you are going to catch the occasional rat or mouse who walks on your lawn and duct tape their mouth shut while your children assist you? Bet you shoot deer too.

Dear idiot who calls themselves "santa claus" .. Every pet owner should be responsible for their animals i agree with you. They should be considerate to their neighbors, etc. However, you or anyone has no right to "play god" and take away an innocent life who has caused no harm. You are not the judge to take that away and neither is this psycho. She should be locked up for not only what she did to those animals, but locked up at the psychological issues she has imposed upon, yet other innocent lives-children. You should reevaluate your thinking and if you don't, I hope that one day you are faced with an issue of which you can clearly understand the meaning of taking something that you love dearly away with no cause of explanation. hows that for BAM.

Santa Clause? More like the Grinch. Pets wander occasionally onto our property and we don't get any more upset about it than if a neignbors' kid walked through once in awhile. I have a dog, the neighbors have dogs and we look out for all of them. They do likewise. It's called being CIVILIZED. I have dog allergies...so I get allergy shots. Big deal. Even pets kept on leashes sometimes get loose. Your solution to shoot anything you yourself did not place in your yard is primitive, at best. Read the Bible, especially the part about being a good steward of the earth. Animals have a right to a life too.

I think they should hold her down and duct tape her up and then bury her in a dump!!!!! Doing this to animals who cannot stand up for themselves is utterly horrible. She is not a human being... She is a monster!

apparently what I posted went way over your head. I could care less if an occasional rat or mouse walks across my property(my dog may have issues though), but if they try & enter my house or homestead anywhere on my property then I will kill them, same for any vermin. I never said I would torture them or anything else. Next time take your head out of your a** & read the post before replying.

Interesting that this story has more impact than the one about the house of horror in Cleveland where the black serial killer murdered a dozen black chicks, but it got no coverage here. The media considers black chicks less than a bunch of tortured animals. Funny, I guess.

they that hurt those who depend on them shall burn in a brimstone lake in the hottest part of hell. Animals are man's(homosapiens) best friend, but what manner of friend is man?(quoted from family guy-Brian's day)I think man is a pretty s(hi)t y one. A lot of the convict's would target the kiddie freaks and woman killer's but i also added one other group to my prison hit list....these kind who hurt animals. happy hunting!

I've had a dog coming in my back yard for months now. I took this dog in because I could tell it was abused and in pain. Six weeks prior I called ASPCA on this family. The dog was so matted and infested with fleas. It would cry when you went to pick it up. We wrapped this poor innocent creature (of God's) in a blanket and took it to the groomer had it shaved and bathed for fleas. Then I took this poor animal to the vet for medicine. No animal deserves to live like that. If you "suspect" abuse with animals (or children of course) DO SOMETHING.........

Daily Horoscope for December 8

Aries

You're feeling practical and sensible today, so it's great for getting on with some of the Christmas preparations. The idea of saving money appeals to you now, and if you're browsing around the supermarket looking for festive food you might be so horrified by some of the prices that you decide to make your own instead. This will give you a real feeling of satisfaction.
