Judge it!
Why would anyone try to cross a major highway on foot? Even if your car has broken down it's suicidal to try to make a dash - on foot - across traffic moving at 60 to 70 miles per hour.
...leaves you shaking your head.
Fatal pedestrian crash closes Westbound I-4 in Seffner
A pedestrian was struck and killed on Interstate-4 late Tuesday night. The FHP said the accident has closed the westbound lanes, but some traffic is getting by using the shoulder of the highway.

I wouldn't cross a highway on foot either. That's still no reason though not to stop and help the person who's injured.

How can you run someone down and not stop? How can you hit ANYTHING and not stop? You have to have felt the bump of hitting a person, there is no way that you can NOT know you hit someone or something. I do wonder, though, how they know that five cars hit this person. Where did that information come from?

The woman involved is a family friend. You all don't have a clue what happened! It happened so suddenly she had NO idea what happened! She immediately pulled over across three lanes blindly to stop as her windshield had completely shattered and glass has damaged her retina. There was an infant buckled in the back seat. She is so distraught on so many levels and feels absolutely devistated for this man and his family. Consider this as factual - not the above posts.

Just bad for all. My heart goes to all concerned. A girl was killed last year doing this after a concert. You would think people would stop. It can happen so fast a person may not have seen what they rolled over if he was down. It is possible.

Agreed thats the underlying tragedy in all of this. How our society has sunk that people are so self centered and narcississtic , that they just keep on driving when they hit a pedestrian. Evil has become the norm in our world. |
