Prior to 1946, my grandgather, Edward Thomas owned what is now East Missoula. I would appreciate any information or to hear from anyone who was familiar with the ranch or my grandfather. You may contact me at dresoldie@yahoo.com

According to my recent research in Missoula County Deed Records, a fellow named R.E. Glass bought most of the land that would be known as East Missoula in 1908. Over the next couple of years he sold over 700 lots. Perhaps your grandfather's ranch was further out of the city of Missoula or ?
