A dollar here a dollar there, pretty soon taxpayers will get to keep a few billion more of what they earn.

It has been a very successful endeavor for so many and it is short sided to have cut funding through the university, for it is where so many students could have been successful in their business ventures. Pity.

Has anyone ever examined their success rate? Anyone who owns or has started a small business knows that government and regulation is your biggest problem. They operate like every government agency, lots of talk, but little action and they move very very very slowly.

NFL2323 Chattanooga, TN	Reply » \| Report Abuse \| Judge it! \| #6 May 31, 2008 Just to clear up a few things: The SBDC is NOT the SBA SBDC's are not allowed to charge for counseling The process is not long. The only people I ever heard complain about the SBA were people with bad credit and no collateral and hence turned down. Its also a bit cheap to say you HEARD someone was refused service by FAU. How about some facts. It looks like the helped a lot of people if you read the article.
