Moving to Renton Wa area from Kentucky

I am getting ready to move to the Renton area from Kentucky. I was wondering are ther VFW'a and American Legions around? I am a former US Marine and I think I would enjoy the "enlightened" perspectives in the laws of Washington. Moving by myself so hoping to make friends quickly. Will be looking for a 2 or 3 bedroom house. The marijuana laws here in Kentucky are draconian to say the least and that med seems to ease pain suffered through wounds. I hate to leave the state of my birth but I want to adhere to the law if possible - any advise would be welcome and certainly looking for new friends. Thanks for reading...Tim

I know there are but I don't know where they are at. I heard some customers in my store say there is but no idea on the exact location. I hope your move here is quite pleasant. And when you get here, don't forget to visit a doctor to get your medical marijuana card. They won't be hard to find when you do get here, there are advertisements for them all over the roadside these days. But, as long as you have your medical card, its legal in the state of Washington. Thanks for the info hon - I do appreciate - will I need med records o can I just tell them my issue?
