Remember when PG had a Marine Rescue Patrol before the fire department sold out the citizens of PG and went to Monterey?

Ok, Out of towners really don't have a clue about how powerful that ocean really is. I've seen people get swept off rocks at Lover's Point like it's nothing. As for being local in a 12 foot skiff?'COME-ON wait for the ocean to calm down, THEN GO out. I've been boating in Monterey for 27 years, and I didn't even go out over the weekend.

REMEMBER: DON'T TURN YOUR BACK ON BIG WAVES!
Also: IF IT'S TOO ROUGH OUT THERE STAY IN!
Whatever

Monterey Fire is a poison to the peninsula fire service. Now they are trying to get Seaside to sell out. PG needs there fire department back. The contract with Monterey Fire is costing more then if PG had there own Dept.

Monterey Fire department in P.G. is a good thing. The new ladder truck they got downtown is always breaking down, they use the one from P.G. more then the other one. ALSO......the response from Monterey to P.G. is much better than just the one station in P.G. Especially when they have fires or accidents. So, in my books, the merger was a good thing.

Daily Horoscope for January 3

Gemini

You are in a dissatisfied mood, and are just spoiling for a fight today. However, be warned that this could backfire on you unpleasantly, especially if you take on superiors at work. At home, everyone is used to your behaviour and they generally make allowances for you, as they will today.
