We have to explore space. It is a must. You live on one tiny little planet and think you know everything? There is a whole universe out there full of galaxies, and planets. Just in our galaxy alone there are billions of habitable planets! It is so arrogant to think that we are the only form of intelligent life in the universe. God I hope that's not true because humans are ignorant. If we are the only form of intelligent life in the universe than I think God has some explaining to do. He could do better. If they did find life it would cause some to question their faith. Probably the same people who don't believe the Holocaust ever happened, or that the dinosaur's never existed and God just put the bones here to test their faith. Mars is interesting, and I hope to God that we find life there because I don't want to exist in a universe where the only intelligent lifeforms are ignorant, narrow minded, arrogant human beings who let religion and politics run their lives. If we are going to spend tons of money on something I'd rather it be space exploration rather than bailing out companies that can't get it together. Seriously.
