I graduated from there last year. New classes start every Tuesday. They are open Monday-Saturday. As far as good school it gets it done. Go in there and do what's right and it'll be all good. It takes a little over 9 months if you get your time in. Hope this helps!!!

It means continuing education is the KEY to surviving this field. Some of the most common things you do at SBC Inc (wet sets, perms, and state board sets) dont really keep you on top of the industry. Continuing education like classes here in town and shows out of state help.

I went there too, it's ok just to get you the license. If you do, make sure you keep up with all of you're own records an grades, they tried to tell me I didn't have credits when I did. I also did an apprenticeship right out of beauty school, that's the only reason I've gotten where I am today. Because I didn't learn that much in school except for what I taught myself. But it's a wonderful job! I love it
Oh yes!! I forgot about the keeping your own records. Good one!! I did an apprenticeship as well and you are exactly right!!!!'

You can apply for pell as well as student loans. I think the cost is now over 10,000.00 but I don't know the exact amount.

Terrible school! Will get u ur license but that's it. Lol almost everything you learn is outdated and out of style. But if u have friends in the industry who are willing to teach u as well and are willing to travel and learn new techniques then by all means get your license here then continue your knowledge

It is how much effort you want to put in it. They do teach the basics and that us what they are suppose to be doing. Yes you can get polls and grants! I loved it there and I did not play around there either. They are an accredited school. Don't be afraid and go talk with them! They are very nice!!!
