First of all, not all H&R Blocks are franchised. H&R Block does have EA's and you can get the same person if you want every year. Some of the tax pros have been with H&R Block for over 20 years.
Do your research before you write articles.

I read in your article about not getting the same tax preparer at H&R Block, I work at H&R Block and in our offices' clients can request the tax preparer that has helped them previously. We also have an enrolled agent in our office.

I just read this article and I just wanted to say that I have been getting my taxes done at H&R Block for many years now and I always get the same person by request. Not only that but there are some people that work there that are very knowledgable about taxes and can do very complicated tax returns. H&R Block also offers what they call "Peace of Mind" so that if a situation did occur, H&R block will take care of it.

I have had my return prepared at HR Block for the last 21 years. It has gotten somewhat complex and they do an excellent job. I have had the same preparer for the last 15 year and I know that I can ask for her each time.

I work for H&R Block (11 years now) and many of my clients see me every year. We encourage people to request the same tax preparer every year and if you need to come in several times during tax season, you almost always see the same person.

It was my intent to jump to the defense of our many Enrolled Agents and the vast expertise of our H&R Block Tax Professionals - we are giving a 45 year award this year as well as many others. Our Tax Professionals work hard to build on their knowledge and stay up to date on the latest tax changes. They also enjoy serving their clients year over year and really get a thrill when they can serve a family for generations. That was my intent, but I see my brothers and sisters have already done so. Only 32 days left - Let's go kick some tax!

I think that we should help our own at home first. We have hungrey childen and families out on the streets here in good old USA. Instead of given billions of dollars to companies to give out bonus that the american people are paying for I would rather it go to the people on the streets, and living in poverty to get some of the money for them. These employee's still have jobs, how about the ones that have nothing now, except unemployment if they can get it. We did not give these billons of dollars for these companies to go on like everything is alright. We bailed them out to get a handle on their companies and to make changes to help get that company on its feet again, not to take the money, give out bonuses, and lay thousands of the little worker off. How about letting some of those managers go that make a lot of money, and are responsiable for the poor shape the company is in.
