We, more than any other road user, rely on drivers of other traffic being observant and considerate! We have as much right to be on the road as you do, and contoury to the comments of some people, we don't want to die any more than any other road user!

My heart really goes out to the family and friends of the person lost in this accident. And I hope that all over the world, we find a system that allows motorcyclists to get from A to B much safer than is currently the case for us everywhere! We need to learn from each other!

Perhaps, if all drivers passed their standard driving test, then had to take an advanced driving test (within 2 years, designed to increase hazard awareness), that would decrease the likely-hood of these terrible accidents we see on our roads?

Why does every motorcycle death result in this us vs. them mentality? There are both dangerous and responsible drivers operating every type of vehicle on the road.

Human nature: There will always be a them and us, just so long as there is something to make people different.

But, yes, of course: there are equal number of idiot bikers (proportionately), as there are car drivers, however, the biker will come off worse every time!

But putting that aside, a motorcycle has very different needs than a car. The rider and pillion are very much more vulnerable than a car and their passenger. Be you a motorcyclist, car driver or truck (lorry) driver, you can never have enough training! Hazards can be very hard to spot!

In the UK, we have something called IAM (institute of advance motorists), and its based on the police system of road safety. However, very few people go on to become advanced motorists. But with roads getting more and more congested, I think they should be look at making it law, that every driver/rider take such a course. I'm sure the US and other places has its version of such a system.

I lived above Tim and Denise, and when I found out about the accident and the resulting tragedies from Anna and Denise's mother, I was stunned! I am sickened by all the comments, but not surprised...I have had a couple people I know in the news in the past year and was shocked to see the heartless comments these people make on here for their own amusement. To Tim, Anna, Crystal, and all of the Dixon family and friends; DO NOT LET THESE HEARTLESS ARSES HURT YOU! These people have no lives, no hearts, and no sensibilities...I don't know how many times I have to repeat myself in these forums, but to all of you posters: THINK BEFORE YOU TYPE, WHAT IF THIS WERE YOUR FAMILY OR FRIENDS! WOULD YOU WANT SOMEONE SAYING HARSH THINGS IF YOU HAD JUST LOST A DAUGHTER OR A WIFE???? THIS FAMILY KNOWS THE SITUATION, AND NO MATTER WHOSE FAULT IT WAS, THEY HAVE LOST MORE THAN ANY FAMILY SHOULD AND HAVE FELT MORE PAIN THAN MOST PEOPLE FEEL IN A LIFETIME!
My heart goes out to you all who care about Tim and Denise, and to their families and their friends.
Anna, I would love to keep in contact with you, I enjoyed meeting you s much while you were here. Please email me about Tim's condition! musouka02@yahoo.com

I WANT TO THANK~YOU FOR WHAT YOU WROTE. I CAN'T TELL YOU HOW GOOD IT FEELS TO KNOW THAT THEIR ARE STILL GOODHEARTED PEOPLE OUT THERE WHO CARE. THIS HAS BEEN A HARDER TIME THAT MANY PEOPLE WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND. IT'S SAD THAT DENISE IS IN HEAVEN, BUT SHE WILL ALWAYS BE WITH OUR HEARTS!!! I MISS HER SOOO MUCH!!! I LOVE MY DAD SO MUCH AND I WISH I COULD TAKE AWAY ALL THE PAIN AWAY, BUT I CAN'T. I WISH I COULD HAVE STOPPED THE ACCIDENT. I WOULD HAVE TRADDED PLACES WITH DENISE BUT, IT WAS NOT MY CHOISE. I DON'T EVER WANT TO SEE ANYONE IN PAIN. I WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND WHY THIS HAPPEND. WHOEVER SAID EVERTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON. I WOULD REALL LIKE TO TALK TO THEM

Bike pulled over and slows abruptly.
Oh thats right bikers never make mistakes. And you are always right (or is it self rightious)
You have know idea what happended that day, so syop making jugements that are not right. You have know idea the pain of me, my family, or friends are going through. It's never important to point fingers at people. A accident is a accident thats sad. Have a heart for our family and friend going through a hard time. Instead of blaming bikers for everything why dont you say a prayer for thoses who are hurt. Thoses who nolonger have a daughter, mother, grandma, stepmom, niece, cousint, and much more. For my dad who does not have his wife. THINK BEFORE YOU TYPE SOMETHING!!!!!!!!!How would you like to be in my shoes!!!!!! I am not holdhearted like you I hope you never have to go through something like this. Have a great life a**hole!!!!!!!!!!

We bikers didn't buy motorcycle to commit suicide. We rode bikes to enjoy life because life is short and you dont know if you choke just drinking soup or die of old age in the nursing home. More power bikers.
