They are actually picky eaters. The reason so many humans survive Shark attacks is that after biting into humans,the sharks determine the fat content to be too low and stop the attack. It is believed that the shark instincually knows the effort isnt worth the caloric payoff.
Ask anyone who has fished for Tarpon in Boca Grande pass(sw florida) The sharks have learned to wait for fisherman to hook into tarpon and tire the fish out before moving in for an easy dinner.There is one hammerhead,estimated at 18 feet,the locals call hitler.....

Absolutely correct , it's why Great Whites will kill a Sea Otter , but usually not eat it.

I remember a few years ago they caught a huge hammerhead in Boca Grande ( I think it was there ) that turned out to be a female with 55 pups when the Mote Marine Lab checked it out. It really píssed me off that they killed her .
An 18 foot hammerhead would be an impessive sight . I've seen them approximately 15 feet. Scary when they're almost as big as the boat you're on.

Here's an update on the ever-growing crew of Global Warming Whackos: The Very Reverend Al Sharpton, Newt Gingrich and oh yeah, John McCain.

We have nothing but a bunch of idiots running for president...Must be because of Global Warming.

The real reason for global warming:
All the air pollution laws and regulations businesses have to follow! Because smog and air pollution has been greatly reduced since the 70's and 80's, more sunlight reaches the earth! It's also been too long since we had a good volcano. Hopefully, the volcano will wait a few more months so people can't blame it on Gearge Bush.

My distinguished colleagues and I were awarded a million dollar grant to capture, disswect and evaluate thje stomach contents of all of the man eating sharks on earth back in 2004. We hurridly chartered a large shark fishing boat and hired a crew, of course stocking up the vessel with several thousand dollars worth of liquor and beer. We set out and after 2 days had caught a suspected maneating Tiger shark near the beaches of Malibu California. We dutifully sliced open the beasts stomach and out popped an obviouly Pakistani man. The next day we caught a large blue shark and out popped aEskimo man. Thsi went on and on for several years and we soon had a boat full of rotten corpses and no real data to speak of. Finally, a yacht full of nude and gorgeous women roared past us and we scuttled the craft and all of our findings?Then we simpply set after the naked vixens in the lifeboats, wavibg the grant cash at them. Needless to say, when we caught up with them and docked in SanDiego , we all had a terrific time.
