I too have been using Pure & Natural soap for the past several years. It is THE ONLY soap I can use on my face and body without breaking out. I can no longer find it at my usual sources: Safeway, Longs, KMart, Target, local independent market. I'm on my last bar and frantically checking every market/WalMart I pass. I had a stash of about 2 dozen bars, and now I'm worried I can't find it anymore. I hope my usual sources start restocking this product soon--I don't know what I'm going to do after I run out. I've tried Dove (too greasy), Ivory (too drying).

I can't use anything but the old formula! This new one is tearing me up! I knew without being told after two days that the formula had changed! This new formula may be good for the animals and environment, but it is awful on my body!

I'm with Gware, this new stuff is tearing me up too! Why couldn't they have left the formula alone! If it wasn't broke, why fix it?

I wish I could post a picture of my hands after using their new soap - raw and oozing and itchy. I have tried every "natural" soap out there, including recommendations by dermatologists and nothing works but the original formula!

Dial is no longer producing the 4.5 oz. Pure and Natural Bar Soap .
Most retail stores I guess have discontinued this item. I found it on 2 web sites:
NexTag and Price Grabber. You may have to purchase it by the case though.

The best thing for everyone to do is to call and email the Dial Company about this.

Maybe Dial Company will bring the soap back like coke did with the original coke?

Pure and Natural soap has been out more than 20 years because I was using it more than 20 years ago, and have used it everyday for more than 20 years.

Here in Tennessee, I can only find the very small bars once in a while now, as most places no longer sell it. I have two small bars left and am frantic because I also have allergy, and have tried all soaps and washes over the years and this is the only one that works on my skin.

Good luck to everyone trying to get the soap. If anyone gets through to Dial or finds out where to get the soap please post. I can’t afford to pay $70.00 for a case right now, and saw that was the price on one online store.

I called Dial. The old Pure & Natural soap is now called Dial Basics. It is still hypoallergenic and dermotologist tested. I asked and they told me that the fragrance is the same. I'll give it a try. The new Pure & natural Soap line is totally different

Thanks Leslie,

I emailed them but didn't hear back yet.

What I found out is the Wal-Mart near me has the dial basics once in a while but they run out fast, and the bars are almost half the size of the pure and natural bars we are all used to.

I wish Dial Company would just bring pure and natural back, and call the older version same ingredients "pure and natural classic" like coke did in the 80s.

You don't need to buy the Dial Pure & Natural Soap by the case at www.discountcosmeticoutlet.com They have the bath size too! Running Low on Them so better hurry up before the price goes up! Nobody can get them anywhere in the bigger size. Lots of trial sizes out there by the case only. I hate those, too little for the shower..

I just discovered Dial BASICS. I never tried it as Pure and Natural but the BASICS has done wonders for my skin. I found it cheap here: http://www.dollartreedirect.com/

I found Dial Basics in Gualala, CA and in San Francisco, CA. It smells the same as Pure and Natural, and only comes in 3/3.5 oz package and costs the same as 3/4.5 oz Pure & Natural.

just so you know, i called the pure and natural company and asked them about this new Basis formula, twice. The first time i called, i was informed that the only difference in the new soap (Basic) is that they added more coconut oil...that's all. The next morning i called them again and again inquired what the difference is in the igredients. This time i was told that besides raising the coconut oil...to my utter horror i was informed that they added "talc" to this new bar. So, i called my DR and asked what brand of hypoallergenic soap should i now switch to, she recommended i use hypoallergenic Neutrogena extra gentle wash. I had a bad reaction towards Dove unscented after i noticed that my store stopped carrying the Pure and natural soaps. I will follow my DR's advice and stay AWAY from this new basic, the new formula sounds horrible!
