My husband & I watch the show for the past six years. Last year is the very first time we watch & hear this very talented young man.
Eric Velada sung "Nessun Dorma" & "Brandi" last year at the Sun Dome and it is beyond great words to described him.
My husband & I followed anywhere in town Eric sing. He sing Opera Arias at the Romanos Macaroni Grill. Last month we came & see him performed at the StarDust theater. "Granada" in spanish & Addio Fiorito Asil from Madam Butterfly are amazing treat for me & my husband. The first opening show, Mr. Velada sung Nessun Dorma as an Encore. We can listen to his songs forever & his great tenor voice. We try to catch him sing at the country club. Whenever Mr. Velada is present, it is a treat for everyone without paying your way in to the Opera. He will sing some Arias and some Josh Groban Song like "You Raise Me Up" & most of his songs are in Italian Arias & Contemporary.
This young man came from nowhere & we hope that Sun City will embrace this young man that posses great talent. We have heard many singers both from the past & present but this young man is worth it.

My husband & I are from Alberta, Canada. We heard this young Asian tenor & we thought it was a song from the radio. He sung to our table "O Sole Mio" & we are speechless. The dynamic, the vibrato & the power of his voice even without music it is awesome to listen.

My family are having after funeral lunch at the Romanos restaurant. This waiter serve us & sung Santa Lucia to my mom. It brought tears & life to all us. My parents are from northern Italy & it is my parents beloved song.
Wow! that is amazingly unexpected.

We enjoy hearing Eric sing "The Prayer" last year at the Convention in Phoenix. I wish some audience will shut up.
It is insulting when someone singing & people chatting at the same time.

My wife's friends are visiting from Utah & some member of the church are at the restaurant. We heard this singing waiter. He sung to us "Matinatta" my favorite. We know he is recently move here. We hope someone will give his kid a break. I ask him if he is interested joining the Church. The Mormon Tabernacle Choir is one of the best in the country.

Its about time somebody need to talk about this singing waiter. My first impression "where in the hell he cam from'? Because he don't look italian. I'm Italian but I can't sing. Most of my life think we are better singer. I heard this guy sing last month & came back twice to make sure if it is him.
My god this kid is not Italian. I'm humbled & almost choke up of my own judgmental attitude all this years.

I think it is great idea that Italian Restaurant have someone sing. It is a plus to give customers the reason to eat out. Specially this current economic down turn. Businesses need every thing in anyway to attract their customers. I hope businesses take good care this kind of talented people in Scottsdale.

We came back for Mothers day celebration & Eric serve us & sung "Mama". It was a treat!
I wish he has a sound system with microphone. I bet he can do a lot better. I heard him sing most of Josh Groban & Andrea Bocelli songs.

My wife & I celebrating our second wedding anniversary. Last year, our waitress ask Eric to sing at our table. First, Eric apologized that he didn't know any Rock n roll songs. Probably because my wife appeared to him a Gothic out fit & hughe stud in my nose. My wife told him that we love Opera. Eric sung our favorite song "Cielo E Mar" & at the end of our dinner, Eric came back & sung "Turna Surriento" & gave my wife a flower.
What a big treat! & what a full of surprised!
The food is okay but the songs are out of this world.
