Looks like statistics are still holding true. Scotts Valley holds the highest rate of drug and alcohol use among it's youth. Way to go conservatives. Um, er teach your children well?

That won't help her out with the ecstasy and ketamine I'm afraid. Another point, how can a minor hold a valid mm card anyway. I thought you had to be 18. My my is the mm system corrupt ya think?

The article said the driver had the marijuana. Driver's age not stated. Reading comprehension is a major issue in America today, try to keep up.

With almost everyone diagnosed with ADD and the Sentinel being elusive with facts, it'll catch a few people.

Interesting that only small amount of the legal drug was found but alot of the illegal drug was taken. Not sure how many pills it takes to have fun, but seems she was carrying alot for just personal use.

It’s real easy for minors to obtain MM cards. The San Diego District Attorney filed charges against several doctors down south last year for selling MM cards to juveniles. Big money to be made by unscrupulous liberals! I read you can even purchase them on-line without ever having to meet face to face with a doctor! Paaaaaartay dudes! Even if you live within a fairly conservative section of Liberal Land, your children are susceptible constant Liberal propaganda from the immoral Holly weird moral less machine and liberal educational indoctrination!

Raves are ridiculous parties for KIDS as young as 13 and as old as...??? Many KIDS go to these raves to take drugs and dress in nearly NOTHING. It's a pretty ridiculous fad happening in Santa Cruz right now. Having this stupid girl get caught keeps 30 young teens safe at the next rave, but what about the next? And next?

I think police should start patrolling the outside of these raves-- often held at the 418 downtown. If teens don't show up on x, they're usually pretty drunk, or reeking of pot, or on LSD or crack or even meth...and they have a supply with them to give to their friends!

Reading comprehension is key, yes. But writing stories that actually make sense would be even better. The Sentinel is just getting worse and worse on that front. I've started to read these stories as "first lousy draft", and then wait for the more complete story a day or so later.

Doesn't this paper have an editor who can check his reporters' work?

Obviously the cop ascertained that he was merely possessing the weed, and not smoking or high on the weed.
