As far as we are concerned, we would love to see someone that is not politacally driven on television, or at least not left leaning. Go Rudy!!!

Hi Rudi, I always wanted to be related to someone famous rather than infamous. Keep up the good work.

I promise that I am not trying to be rude or hurtful but Miss Raynes is NOT a good reporter yet. It's obvious that she is straight out of college and has no real experience. I can't believe our local stations are allowing these kids to get on the news. I saw a story this one did in a wedding dress store and it was all about her smiling and posing for the camera and trying to look cute on TV. That's NOT journalism. She has a lot to learn.

Hey Rudi, You are doing a fabulous job. You have a talent that just shines when you are on the screen. Someone referred to you as a "kid on the news". You are soooo far from that. The wedding dress story was a breath of fresh air from all the sad and bad stories you have to report. If it was corny, we need more corny! We are looking for corny in our lives. Keep up the great work and keep smiling. You deserve it.

Rudi is not a good reporter. She never has to cover any real stories. She's just a face on TV.

Quit trashing Rudi. She is doing well and improving every day. What she lacks in on-air experience she makes up for with local market knowledge. I'll take a home-town kid with little experience over a guy that knows his/her LAST market but knows NOTHING about his/her CURRENT market!

News directors and producers can teach a newbie how to report. But local market knowledge is invaluable!

They need to start teaching her then because Rudi Raynes is a very very weak reporter. They don't let her do "real" stories because she just isn't capable. As a matter of fact, she doesn't do much work at all because she can't handle it.

I've heard (from people at Ch. 8) she is very lazy and only wants to put video of herself in all of her stories. A bit conceited, don't you think?

Rudi, you're doing an excellent job! I feel you bring an interesting and fun addition to the news broadcast. It's good to see a familiar face on TV!

Rudi Raynes needs to go to a smaller market and learn the ropes before she reports here. She gets her facts wrong quite often and says some really juvenile things on the air.

She needs to do something with that hair, yes she is weak in a lot of areas. Also no news come from Putnum, it's all kanawha we really care about, and who dresses this girl for the news?! They need to be fired.

She's totally immature. Acts like an unprofessional fool. She doesn't even get the story right half the time.

Her Putnam County stories are always way out of date. Sometimes she reports on something days or even weeks after it has happened. I don't think she has a clue about news from Putnam County.

Rudi Raynes is a twit. She gets on the news and brags about having EXCLUSIVE stories from Putnam County. Too bad you can see the exact same stories on the other local newscasts. I don't understand why she lies about these so-called EXCLUSIVE stories. It seems more than a little bit pathetic. I guess that's what happens when you hire a 12 year old airhead to deliver the news.

Daily Horoscope for January 7

Libra

Remember that life isn't all fun and games: handle your responsibilities first, then plan how to have a good time. Your impulses, once you yield to them, will have a tendency to lead you further and further from where you need to be. Make sure you lock the door behind you before disappearing; when you're in this kind of mischievous mood, you probably won't want anyone else to know where you're going.
