Why Dont Preople use there Real Names?

So far over 90% of the people that run there mouth on this web page wont even put there names! They make up some fake name or something just plain stupid? If you want to give your opinion on someone atleast have the guts to give your real name!!!
When getting an opinion on somebody the name of where it is coming from is extremely important.
You can't even beleieve over half of what ytou read!!

True Very true!Im just gona let it go cause I saw the way they lived and we are nothin like that. I aint never seen anything that bad.We are not gona let them bring us down. After everything we have done so far. & my internet messed up and placed my post on like 4 extra times.

You know why people dont post there names? For security dumbass. People don't want to look like a fuck-up posting on topix in front of there girlfriend. So they put in fake ass names. What is wrong with that? people smack talk all the time outa school, and people in scott city dont give a flyin fuck about this site. It could be your best friend seeing what people say about you. Most the time its just your friends posting shit about you for laughs and giggles.

One more thing about the name thing. That individual probably doesnt want there parents or relatives to see how dumb they actually are over the internet.

You know people who don't post their real names are just hiding behind a computer. It is kinda like going to a masked ball except you never actually have any contact with them. This website is used way too much for bashing other people and not for what it is supposed to be for which is neighborhood information. I have seen some people posting animals for sale or that they are having a big yardsale. This is supposed to be another site like "Craig's list" but it has turned into just another gossip page. I pretty much just ignore 99% of the stuff on here because if they don't have the guts to post their name then it is probably a lie.

Angela, Stfu. Craig's List is for selling and buying, like Ebay. Topix is ment for friends to communicate during the summer or during vacation, and for news. You know nothing.

okay but people should put there real names bc if they want to talk trash about somebody they should have the balls to tell who they are and most of these pages are NOT jokes!!!!! they go on this web page and spread lies about every body!!! the reason that I posted this was bc somebody else was sayin that my husband beat me while he didnt (dunmbass) as you put it! Plus he didnt even know me or my husband he was our neighbor that we said 2 words to!!

Obviosly I do know something or I wouldnt have posted the damn page. I know all bout sc I lived there and got the hell out!! I am trin to get the ignorangt proeple to come out and grow some balls and it has been workin on my other blog so i obviously do know a hell of a alot more than you think!

Sounds a little bit like a hipocrite. Funny that you point out no one uses their name yet you put Angela, there are tons of girls named Angela using your 1st name is really no different that using a screen name at all, still doesn't really tell anyone who you are.
Practice what you preach, also if you are so uninterested in what is on Topix why are you taking time to read, and post hypocrital comments...or did you just stubble on this forum while you were looking for yardsales??? rather that checking the newpaper or online news....but since you told your 1st name, guess your not hiding behind anything.
