on looking into the subject; heres some of what was found;
in 1999 mr tobash said "the political rhetoric should disappear once the campaign is over. Im not sure if that EVER happens"
and mr barket said "as history shows we've FAILED miserably at it. 22 resumes were thrown in the garbage"
(they are two commissioners and responding to hiring practices in schuylkill county courthouse)

1999- police arrested 29 drug dealers;
when they got to court 8 of them were dismissed because the police made up the charges on those 8. they had alibis.

in '99 the pottsville pd was given $400,000
for "cops in shops" where they were supposed to work in alcohol seeling stores to catch under age drinkers.(not one cop worked in any store- where did the money go?)

'99 $47 million dollars was allotted to john rich to open a new coal to oil plant in st. clair pa. providing $18/hr jobs w/ full benefits. to be open by 2000.

what did he do with all that federal money?
theres NO plant, NO jobs.

4/99 a very bad accident happened at the fairlane mall where several teens had died from injuries. robert mccormick was arrested and tried.
however; all the evidence was banned;
the 911 tapes went missing;
the woman "driving" his p/u was in a mental hospital;
people who recorded off scanners heard a police chase that was in excess of 100+ miles an hr. from the bar to the scene.
witness's said he left with his girlfriend who was driving. also the rookie cop who was staking out the bar "out of his jurisdiction" "stalking mccormick" had NO reason doing that.
also there was a federal law passed for safety that prevents chases to exceed 60mph (especially in the rain)

'99 - county officials stated that walmart and other stores and restaurants and movie theaters and others were to be at the st clair area. all construction would be done by feb. 2001.

what happened?

the stores all backed out because of politics.

10/04 two officers were federally indicted on firearms charges, planting evidence, violating civil rights, obstruction of justice, and lying to feds.

their two chiefs were also indicted on gun charges stemming from selling a machine gun.

CORRUPTION.

1/06 chief harley walks after he ran an atv over with a teenager on it; after witness's said he did it on purpose. without cause.
CORRUPTION IN THE COURTS.

3/06-$50,000 was given to the city of pottsville for the pd to go after the business's who sold alcohol to minors.

THERE WAS NEVER ANY ARRESTS.
WHAT DID THEY DO WITH THAT MONEY?

In 1999 cpl j. odonell was appointed to a new office in the city of pottsville (pd)
a program by the Pa. law enforcement accreditation; by the chiefs of police accociation. his job?
he was to look at all the policies for administration, crime scene processing, and lethal force and then make changes for the better.
DID HE?

now a capt. and still NO new policies; still protect your own no matter what.

2000- pottsville pd got a new or semi new ( a demo) motorcycle.
J clarkson, r. wojciechowsky, s guers, f lynagh, and j morrow were all sent to penn state to be certified to ride this new police harley. the pd had an option after the time frame of the bike being on loan; buy it or lease a new one.
its 7 yrs later and no news of any new bike or that the city paid for that one.??

in 1945 pottsville had a street called "minersville st." it was a barrage of bars, gambling, and prostitution.
it was a red light district for the military;
(off limits)
when the feds came storming in and closed it down they arrested all the prostitutes, some drunks, and a few drug takers.
and closed it down.
question is? why didnt they arrest any of the people who ran it?
like the county judges, pd, commissioners????

in the mid 70's
the resteraunt now known as the coney island which at that time was "carrolls" made a police call; man with a rifle coming through the parking lot. when pd arrived they walked into the food place and shot the young man to death.
the young man was a known drug dealer by the name of quirk.
his father was a city cop.
when his father sued the city and pd; the suit was mysteriously dropped and mr. quirk turned up as the head of the FBI in charge of schuylkill county.

MORE CORRUPTION!

in the mid 80's-
two young boys (teens) walking home from school were taken into police custody.
the pd said they stole a car.
they were picked up over a mile away from the incident;
one of the teens brothers was studying law at a university and went down to city hall, and to the crime scene.
back at city hall he asked the cops what kind of shoes do they have on? cop said sneakers.
man says what kind of shoe prints are at the scene? cop says boots.
man says let them go or ill break your face.

HARASSMENT

man watches another man put a bomb on his car;
bomb goes off; calls pd; cop picks up evidence and says Ill take this downtown and throw it away. NEVER goes next door to question the guy who placed the bomb. NEVER arrests the man either.
why? son of a cop.
eye witness's and caught on video but the pd did absolutly NOTHING.

woman has two very young children; has boyfriend living with her "giving" her her drugs; pd called many times. nothing done.
children and youth called many times; nothing done;
when neighbors run out the drug seller; girl flips out and kills one of the kids.

she sits in prison on murder charges,
the drug seller is still selling;
a child is dead;
a child has no mother;

CORRUPTION IN SEVERAL SYSTEMS!

a mentally challenged girl at a school gets pregnant at school.
children and youth and the police go and take custody of all the children from the parents.
why?

the school was allowing it to happen at school where there should have been some sort of supervision.

CORRUPT COURTS!
