another case where a victim is left to suffer at the hands of someone who should be in jail, but is instead allowed to be out and hurt again. it seems that this is to common. pfa is justa judges way of saying dont do this or else and sometimes these warnings arent enough.

I know this is a late response to this but it says it happened at HIS house not the women's. Why was she there for? She has no business at HIS house if there is a PFA. The rules stand the same on both sides. She cannot contact him as well. That's also a violation and grounds to have the PFA dismissed. I am not saying what he did was at all right, but laws are laws unless it was a misprint.

This is serious, indeed. Ass....!!!!!

I hope the victim get the help she so deserves. Domestic Violence is just out of hand...there is no good reason for it... just plain control

I get what you are saying..but domestic violence is so complicated...I knwo you don't want to blame the victim...but read up on the what a victim does in these circumstances...she could've been told by the "man" that he wanted to make up or talk to her for some odd reason...they will say or do anything to give you a licking...PFA's I have a 3 year one against my ex-husband..because he decided to hit me 6 years after a divorce on the way to my mother's.. he is just plain and simply an asshole....that is all...the PFA is almost worthless, especially when the wipe that you get one for, gets on against you for false reasons..now that is injustice...
