I believe that any grandmother or family member who loved this child would have done the same thing.I don't believe she should be charged in any way.She actually helped the case.. I am a mother of 4 and have been saddened by this case from the beginning. Jaliek is a very handsome young man who deserves a good life so give the grandmother custody so she can get more done to find him.As a stranger who doesn't know anyone in this family if i were contacted by Barbara i would have helped her in any way possible to try to find this child.

I too believe Gramma has done the right thing by Jaliek, Her efforts though not legal were done with the best intention and out of love for this child. The charges against her will be dropped and with the evidence this case may very well be solved. I don't know any of these people but out of my love and faith in children, being a grandmother myself I believe this woman did what any other would out of love and the best interest of this child. I continue to pray Jaliek is found alive, healthy and well!

Jaliek's grandmother obviously did the right thing. Police officials are blatantly retarded for charging her for anything. She wasn't snooping around the house to see if she could find money, or steal a fruit cake. Her f..**ing grandchild has been missing and is possibly dead!!!!!!! Wake up people. And George Bell should haven ever been in charge of this case, he just wants to harass people who don't look like they belong in this area, and he's content as long as gets a paycheck every week. Word....

i think that the grandmother should not be charged because it took us one step closer to finding Jaliek. The young boy deserves a good life. He doesnt deserve to live like he is know

She should be charged. I haven't kept up to know if she was but she should be. Even if something was found, her hatred for this man is so real that she could have placed anything there to somehow frame him. She hates him so much that anything found would no longer be any good

You haven't kept up to know what is going on...yet you know someone's hate is so real. Give us another line... your credibility went out the window in your second sentence. If you're not up on something, don't preach about what's going on or what should be done.
