This isn't unique for the township. They prevented a WAWA from going in a bit further south at 309 and Kernsville Road because they asked them for $ for road upgrades.

Counter proposal from Walmart will be "no taxes for 15 years and sorry but we are not Santa Claus."

It's not unusual to expect a business or a developer to pay for road improvements that your business/development causes.

However wally is not Santa Claus and shouldn't be funding anything away from it's entrance. I guess the twp doesn't get this.

As for business hours, what business is that of the township? It's retail in a commercial strip, not a beauty shop in a residential neighborhood.

This is just another lever and thumbscrew used by government to extract more money for more favorable regulations.

I go out of my way also , the store in Whitehall is a dump. Must have something to do with the people that shop there.
I was at ths trexlertown store a few nights ago and the rifraf is starting to hang around in the parking lot.
You see after they make a mess out of an area they move on to another. after all you would not want them to hang around in a messey area.
LOL! I think that once they ruin a Walmart they should be forced to shop at that Walmart from that point on!! And Please Please PLEASE tell me that they are not destroying my Trexlertown store! Where is there another one that isn't absolutely messey and nasty? I think the drive I make is far enough. Maybe it is time to consider Target (I can't believe I just said that). But it seems all of our other alternatives are running out. If you want to have a clean store, that you are able to take your kids into without worrying if there Tetnis shot is up to date, I don't think Walmart is an option any longer. And I liked my Trexlertown Walmart too, D**N IT!!!

Yes thank you for that!

I wanted that Wal-Mart now I have explosions rattling my house all day long from that disaster that bought the land after you chased out Walmart. I can no longer have anything atttached to my walls because of you.

@ North Whitehall Supervsors allow Walmart to build, there are much worse things that can occupy that space

You want help getting rid of Walmart?
I can do it. I did it in Wind Gap and I can chase Walmart out of N.W.T. also.
I guarantee when I'm finished, you won't have a Walmart up there.
Now, about compensation. Make me an offer.
Compensation, how about a long walk off a short pier into a lot of water, while carrying a cinder block.

Walmart has jumped through all the hoops to date to obtain those building permits and are willing to continue following State and Local laws. Nwt keeps dragging out their approval with their pan-handling and begging for funds they are not entitled to.

None approval / no vote this May 18th will give Walmart front page attention and much free advertising.
Walmart plans on going after NWT with the intent of securing lost monies for every days delay in this matter.

Encourage your Local Officals to
abide by the laws, playtime has ended.

Township taxes will take off.
We trust our Officials to NOT break laws, in this case they have.
The contractors should have been on site months ago.

Let me come over there. I ran Walmart out of Wind Gap and I'll run them out of Schnecksville too.
Ask any of my neighbors they'll confirm that I'll get the job done.

Easy for you to say, you do not live here or have to deal with RPM, the trucks coming and going, and the rattling walls all day long.

North Whitehall do yourself a favor and approve it already, Dollars to Donuts this NW4SD will cease to exist within 6 months because their funding from the Anti-Walmart Law Chasers like my pal Walter will stop and will move on to make their buck elsewhere. They don't care about your community, they care about filling their wallets by using NIMBY Fear and Propaganda!!!
