Is it true one of the SGT's from SV went to Steger to be a patrolman? That does not make sense.

Well sure it makes sense! You think Sauk Village is "political" you haven't seen anything like Steger!!!!! Louis Sherman-Sherman-Sherman has been "da Mayor" since 1975. Perhaps the change in position was politically motivated? That being that perhaps the Sgt. has an opportunity to become Sgt. when the eligibility list is established?
Make sense to me! Give Lou a call- he's a good guy ask Anyone in Steger--- Mayor for Life!

Baffled-Who cares if a retired police officer or retired Sgt. from SV went to Steger? What is the problem with that? As I recall, he retired after having his 20 in, he was not dismissed or fired. That's like saying, "Is it true that one of the Chief's of Police from Sauk Village is now a teacher?" Who cares? It didn't have an effect on Sauk Village that they went somewhere else. Perhaps you are baffled because you think one of the current Sgt.'s quit and went to be a patrolman, but it wasn't, it was a retired Sgt.

YO! DUMMY-If the one they are talking about are the initials TD-YES HE IS FRIGGIN YOUNG, but you can still retire at a young age after your 20 years. Seems you sure are a dumb idiot. You really shouldn't go around calling people names, like dummy, when you are the dummy. Baffled wrote: He was a young SGT not a retired one dummy!

Jeanine no wonder youll defend him, you and him were an item. As far as being fired he wasnt. He was brought up on charges, before the fire and police commission, for not responding to calls when he said he was there, racial comments, use of the N word and hispanic sterotypes, and the kicker that was going to be added, recording conversations of other officers, his wife, without there consent in violation of the state and Federal evesdropping acts. He resigned when faced with the evesdropping charges.

Your post shows your lack of intelligence. We were never an item. I know for a fact he wasnt' fired, all charges were dismissed and gee golly, the Village went to him and offered him a settlement. Now, folks, common sense tells you this, well, most of you don't have common sense, but let's assume you have at least 1/3 of a brain. If you are an officer brought up on charges, obviously, they have proof otherwise, no charges. Now, if they have the proof to bring you up on charges, why on earth would they go to you and offer you a settlement to close the case? Hmmm, gee, figure it out fool. The Village brought the charges, the Village suspened him in excess of one year, but gee, ran to him and said we'll give you this and that and wow, where is the proof of the charges? Why did they bring them in the first place? Charges should only be brought after CONCRETE proof, not heresay. Also, he didn't resign, get your facts straight, he retired! Go a bit further, Lacheta is "retiring" gee after being told his contract would not be renewed. Hmmm, see, even if his contract wasn't renewed, he would still be a police officer with SV, just a lower status, like maybe Sgt. instead of Chief. And honestly, how low a blow is it to go from Chief to Sgt.? Pretty darned low. Also, if TD resigned, why did he get a chunk of money from the Village, why did the Village go to him and offer him settlement, I mean, afterall, they had this so called concrete case. The village has done simliar acts a few times, look at one of your new trustees who was weeded out of the village because he didn't conform with lying for the Village, oops, there goes your job, slowly but surely. svpd999 wrote: Jeanine no wonder youll defend him, you and him were an item. Jeanine, you must still be doing him on his car if you know all the facts of what happened with him. He was given an option to retire or be terminated because of the charges that we're being brought up. You would know all the facts, you slept with more than half, or tried to, of the svpd, at least all of the older cops that didn't know better. We're you part of the reason your husband had to leave his job with the village too? shh secrets secrets

Dear Secret, I never was on his car. Funny, the CHIEF of police was given the option of be demoted as Chief or Retire, but you have nothing to say on that one. I never slept with more than half, never slept with any one of them, but believe what you want. You try to make this personal, but the FACT remains, which you seem to be missing, so you must be a SV cop, the Village brought charges against an officer, then to save face, offered a settlement because the charges were unsubstantiated. If you had a brain in your butt, which I'm assuming you don't because you are making it personal, you'd realize that they did this to another Sgt. not too long ago, same thing. Now, you IDIOT they are doing it to your police chief-what is it going to take for you fools to realize what they are doing? Think about it, Chief of Police-we're not renewing your contract, so retire or be demoted, Sgt's-forced into retirement, not one, but I know of at least 2. And by the way, for your information, my husband wasn't forced into quitting, he did so because a friggin department head did things that were illegal and it implicated not only him, but ALL employees of that department because each and every single one of them knew they couldn't be paid for being in two places at one time. Also, he was asked by your new little lady there not to quit, to hang in there. As you say, secrets, secrets. And I have plenty of them. Keep it up. Your knew Brunetta, has them all on paper. You want to go there with secrets? What about the detective that disposed of evidence down the toilet? Not the proper way from what the government tells me. Want the date and time, pull it-the exact date was the day the woman from Florida was on life support because she was in a coma and they witheld life-supporting measures and she starved to death, she passed away, breaking news, between 7-9 pm, that was the date I literally saw someone flush evidence, whether old or new, down a toilet in SV police department. Talk about secrets? Let's go there! I have nothing to hide, I admit to whatever I've done and will do, ask the question, I'll tell you, but don't accuse me of things I didn't do. REALLY BIG POINT DUMB F*&^&-you stated he had to retired or be faced with the charges, HELLO???? if the charges were illegal, HE SHOULD HAVE HAVE BEEN GIVEN THE OPTION TO REITRE! They should have been pursued! And they weren't.

Not continuing to follow up on the charges, shows you what is happening in Sauk Village, GOOD OL' BOYS CLUB! And now, it seems even one of the top good ol' boys wasn't immune to it. And for the record, I have never ever done a cop on his car! And that I can say with honesty. Too bad you can't say you can't say you weren't on your knees!

No, that isn't what happened. She wasn't a pro. Since you feel compelled to know, she was a friend who worked at Burger King, came to bring him coffee and wish him a happy birthday, one kiss led to another and a hard on. He didn't screw her and didn't receive head either. I know all about it, all the details. SEE-NO SECRETS SECRETS! But if you have to gossip, at least get the story straight. Anything else you want to hit me with, bring it on. I have no "secrets secrets", but I'm quite certain you sure do because the only people who make allegations and lies are the ones hiding what they have done, are doing and will continue to do. I'm not hiding anything! Not saying what the old boy did was right by no means, however, he's not the first, won't be the last, in fact, just 2 weeks prior, two paramedics who were working together and dating got caught in the act on the pool table in the tv room. So what? Your point would be about my old boy would be what? Think he's the first? Nope, think he's the last, nope. Bring it on sweetie. Maybe you ought to come clean on what you're doing. Oh, but then again, you'd have to admit you are a hipocrit. toofunny wrote: <quoted text> From what I hear, your hubby got caught doing a pro in the fire station.... secrets secrets!!!!!
