This is a suitable punishment for a 17 year old caught with a gun - but if she were a guy, and African American, the sentence would have been a lot harsher.

I don't see where it says her race,
but I totally agree with you.The race
and fear mongers out there will find
something to say about how this is a
rare event and nothing compared to
all the crimes by blacks or mexicans.
Well I am white, old , and grew up
in the city and I lived in areas that
were like the united nations, and I
never had a serious problem with any
one race of people.My guess is most
of these people are just small minded
and afraid of anyone who doesn't
look or act like them.

a whole 30 days, for consiracy to commit murder....she must be a white girl...black would have gotten you 30 years...if she shot someone she would have gotten community service she aint mental!! why do white people have to be mental and blacks go to jail????
