My dad got a ticket and my hubby got one. He thinks he may have a second one coming for being past the white line on the right-turn lane.
We're all just so used to pulling further forward than the lines because when you are actually going to turn right - you usually cannot see if it clear to turn without pulling a bit forward.
I was told by the Orland Park police that creeping forward is OK as long as you fully stop behind the white line for 3 seconds before creeping forward.
These things are making me not want to pull into the intersection for left turns or go past the white line for right turns.
