A late-night stop for speeding on the Long Island Expressway turned into a lengthy, dizzying chase that ended with blown tires, an injured officer, and a 48-year-old woman in custody, Suffolk police said.

Maybe they could meet at the dinner the following day for coffee and he could arrest her then. Yep that plate proves she was driving. What do mean your honor I got her plate number of course she was driving... Great Idear...

A cop or a drunk could take an innocent life when chasing a drunk. I'm sure she wasn't far from home. It could have been more dangerous to chase her. Let's drive really fast and out of control when incoherent and intoxicated. Not a good idea!!! Have another cop or cops intervene. Or meet her at the house which was probably only a few blocks away. The put the handcuffs on. Wht put the community at risk for one idiot!
