Sounds to my as if the persuing officer wasn't much of a better driver than the persued driver. She should have drove an F350 and just slammed on the brakes on the approaching cop to terminate his vehicle.

Still haven't learned how to check the date on an article. Here we have yet another "intelligent" - NOT - response from you.

The woman didn't want to go to jail. She should have been a lady about the whole thing and stopped for the cop. Every time you get behind the wheel of a car drunk, that is the chance you take. I do not feel bad for her at all. She deserves to go to jail. As far as the cop is concerned, he was only trying to do his job. Maybe next time, he will take her plate number down and meet her back at her house to make the arrest later on. No one is worth risking your life over. Thank God no one else was hurt or killed. Sheer madness.

You know something? that suggestion of yours is a damned good one. Simple and to the point, take the license number and meet the
runaway back at her, or his drievway. Why did'nt I think of that?

A cop or a drunk could take an innocent life when chasing a drunk. I'm sure she wasn't far from home. It could have been more dangerous to chase her. Let's drive really fast and out of control when incoherent and intoxicated. Not a good idea!!! Have another cop or cops intervene. Or meet her at the house which was probably only a few blocks away. The put the handcuffs on. Wht put the community at risk for one idiot!
