May I also enlighten you and say that some of those houses on those streets are more valuable than I’d say half of the houses in Oakdale. As well, majority of the people who live on those blocks are police and firemen and women who protect us everyday. The only reason I even said anything was because all of you people are sick and make me sick. That is why my spelling is off; I have to type fast because I don’t want to throw up on my keyboard from reading this stuff. SO GET YOUR story strait. Thank you ;) Figures someone with an IQ as low as yours would have no idea of what an IP address is or IP mapping. Look I'm in Jersey now, must be MAGIC oooohhhhh

Back to the point. It is very sad what happened. I knew all of these people a few years back and I feel that social services could have helped this family and prevented this tragic event. The people involved in this have poor roll models that believe in violence and drugs. I spent many of my own younger years on Willet and I wish that those police, fireman and other people on the block could have stepped up and helped that family. I hope that the young man who stabbed that other man does go to an appropriate facility that recognizes and helps him with his mental instability.

Why was it everybody elses responsibility to make sure this guy didn't stab someone? Come on, now...let's start taking responsibility for our own actions, okay?

He was and is completely incapable of taking responsibility for his own actions. He was put in the system when he was a child and his mother is and was completely unfit. Unstable and filthy living and to boot a emotionally unstable violent, drug induced setting. The are 3 other boys in that home and god only knows what the future holds for them. The system failed him and his family since instead of providing him with a stable setting they placed him at home and the mother received money to support him which she used for her own addiction. I can see you do not truly understand this situation and if you had lived your life on that block perhaps you could better understand. I do not want to argue with anyone but I feel very sad and sorry for all parties involved including the neighbors who have seen something terrible like this in the making for years. I was a child myself then and am remorseful that I did not do more when I became able.

Does anyone know what is going on with some of the houses in the Easy/Willett St section? It seems there are 10+ kids living in some of these houses. By kids, I mean late teens/20 somethings. The noise at all hours of the night, the cars all over the place, and garbage is really bringing things down around here.

Any Stabbing in Sayville is a good one in my book. I feel safer with more in Sayville stabbed or shot.

It seems that everytime I ride the train past Babylon, there is a junkie on the train. I've seen his type a million years ago when I lived in Brooklyn. Big blue eyes, staring at you, nodding. Injury on his body. Lots of drama.
