Sex offender asks court to terminate probation

Well he might be married over 50 years and has children and grandchildren, but because of his crime, he is a sex offender first and should not be given any special treatment. If the state gives in to his whims, then every sex offender is gonna try to pull the same and God knows VT has more than most states and instead of granting this loser's request, VT needs to start sending scum like him to prison for many many years instead of the ever popular probation or 4 month sentences. What this scum did was to to sexually assault a child, a CHILD, and then committed lewd acts which I am sure we can deduce as to what that was and he should be in prison right now, not on probation!!! So If DOC lets him get off probation, their actions are going to mean this innocent child will feel violated all over again. And rating him low-risk is wrong! If you so as much stick your hand down a kids's pants or up a dress, you are a sex offender and there is no such thing as low-risk. If you put a child in the room with him tonight, he would again commit a sexual act on a child because how times must this be said? THESE SCUMBAGS CAN'T EVER BE CURED!!!! And how come is it he gets to be near grandchildren? I would not let him, regardless if he was a relative or not, near any child!!! So VT! Do the right thing and not give in to this scumbag's whine and think more of the children, who you are supposed to speak for instead of always seeming to think more of these dirtbag's rights, than the innocent child they harmed. You people wronged Brooke Bennett, don't let down the innocent child this scumbag raped.

Mr. Barrows should be on probation and the sex offenders list for the rest of his life. Actually, he should have been in jail. He will recommit another sexual related crime if he is given the oppurtunity. His 50 year marriage should not be a factor in the courts decision. He was married when he committed his crimes. His wife should have divorced him. How can she even loo at him knowing that he is thinking of violating young children. His children and grandchildren should end their relationship with him. He is sick and does not deserve any more than a cold jail cell. If the courts allow him to be near children or end his probation, they are given him permission to violate more children and they should be responsible when (not if) he does.

at least he has learned to ask even if it is the court. If he had maybe asked years ago he would be like every other married guy ask all you want but the answer is still the same NO

Maybe you have had this experience, but that is not the case for every married man. Plus there are plenty of women available to get your needs met. Men should not resort to abusing children. You are just as sick as he is.

I'm a lot worse then him. so where are the horny woman at you talk of or they some dream. I never abuse kids but maybe I do when I take them to micky "D" for grease and calories maybe next week I'll try the farmers market instead
