A state trooper shot Jimmie Lee Jackson but ... was it murder?

Who was this Jackson person and why was he in Selma??

This happened back in the 60's. Jackson was shot by a State Trooper in Marion, AL (about 30 miles fm Selma) and died in one of Selma's hospitals.

The retired Trooper is going to be tried for murder. I've heard Dr Baden will be in Marion to do another autopsy on the body. It will be interesting to see how this comes out.

Does anyone know when the trial is to begin? I didn't live in the area until the early 70's so all I know is what I've read. I would like to keep up with the proceedings as they progress.

I've heard a lot of things too. That's why I want to follow the trial and hear the truth, plain and unvarnished.

I'm more interested in the more recent rape, torture, beating, stabbing, poisoning and strangulation of a young couple in Knoxville that is barely getting any news coverage.

My God, that is horrible. I haven't heard anything about it at all. Do you know if there is there a news story from a local paper or tv station online?

He's talking about the young white couple in Knoxville that was kidnapped at gunpoint and tortured for hours by 4 black men and a black woman. Accounts are numerous but stifled by the media. First they raped the boy in front of his girlfriend, then they raped her in front of him just before strangling him. They they poured drain cleaner down her throat to destroy the DNA (which is stupid really, it doesn't work, thank GOD these black monsters got their education from television). They then finished her off and put her in a trash can.

The press is keeping it quiet because nobody wants this to get out as a Hate Crime. Why? Because only white people are ever guilty of hate crimes. Even when none exists, like in the Duke case. If the truth about this event REALLY went national for more than the 5 minutes or so it was covered, race cards everywhere would begin expiring.

I'm personally sick of being blamed for all the problems of black people just because I am white. My family came over here in the early 20th century, long after slavery was over. But they brought white skin with them, so fast forward a century and even though my family never owned any slaves, I'm a slaver because of my color.

Maybe if Obama gets elected, by the votes of a LOT of white people (face it, there aren't enough voting black people to sway more than a regional market anyway) we will finally see the other shoe drop on the race card.

Still, it's amazing to hear them drag up an old 60s case because it was a black victim, killed for being black. When a young couple who was killed for being white recently will be forgotten by the press and will likely be screwed in death by the law.
