If it were anybody else would they have been charged? I truly think we all know the answer to this. I have heard the 911 audio from this and the guy was out of it, his wife was on the floor almost unconcious the officer calls 911 to report a drug overdose saying he thought it would kill him or her, then non chalantly asks the dispatcher the score to the wings game and carry's on a convo about that. They should be charged or everyone that was busted that year in that precinct should be let off and restitution paid.

Why is there a photo of Detroit's Police logo and not Dearborn's?...Oh I forgot that's how the media does Detroit.

He and his wife should be charged. Just because he's a cop doesn't put him above the law.. Trust in the dearborn police department will be very little.

How sad. It is about time some one blew the whistle on this corrupt Police Department that has been corrupt since I have been alive (32 years). As a law enforcement Officer I cannot stomach the fact that they allowed this corrupt officer to resign without charging him. That alone tells enough about how that Police department is ran. I feel sorry for the few honest officers on that department that go out everyday and protect and serve the community if Dearborn. Hopefully this is a wake up call for the Executives that allow such corruption.

It's too bad that Dearborn Police department can pick and choose who gets charged and who doesn't. This is unjust and should be further investigated. The Dearborn Police Department is part of a credible community and city and should live up to that standard. Shame on them!

I have to wonder what sort of backlash I will get for this comment...but..

I think the whole story is hilarious. Have you heard the tapes? Maybe its because its so late and I am suffering from a bout of insomnia but who cares? The bottomline is the entire system of this world is corrupt. And the more we over populate the world, the more corrupt its going to get.

So smoke a doob and try to not freak out.
