The Black History Program at Bethelehem Baptist Church in Bonham Texas was beautiful. Rev Williams and his ensemble did a wonderful job putting together a patchwork of the Black experience in America from slavery to freedom to outstanding achievements in medicine,entertainment.the arts.justice,education and politics . The grand finale was the slide presentation at the end of the program featuring our first African American president who brought the congregation to it's feet with tears and cheering. This was a job well done. Our time has truly come .
