Crew member on Miley Cyrus film found dead

Donald Lenear was my friend. He lived in Mounds, Illinois and I lived outside of town. I met him when we were in 6th grade together. He had the prettiest eyes! He was just a cutie that had this sweet, sassy smile that could make your day. I haven't seen him since our graduation in 1979 because he hit the road to spread his wings. My prayers are with him and I will miss my friend.
Love to you Donald,

I was also a classmate of Donald's, although we didn't meet until our 8th grade year. He was always smiling and happy. Always nice and fun to be around. We also worked together at Stop-N-Shop Grocery Store in Mounds, IL in our Junior year of High School. I can still picture him sauntering up the aisle toward us cashiers with that silly grin!:) I'm glad that I was able to see him at our 25th year class reunion. He knew who I was right off, but it took me a few minutes to figure out who he was! Afterall, I hadn't seen him since he was 16 and he had changed a lot! I moved at the end of our Junior year, so we didn't graduate together, but we do have a picture together in the yearbook---we were Mr. and Miss Sophomore. He was standing by me in our 25th reunion picture when we lined up, but then all the girls wanted him down front---the center of attention. I'm glad that's where he is in the picture now--that's where he belonged. We all loved him and he will be missed. Please accept our sympathy and our prayers. God bless~Kathy

i know this is a bit late, but for "that one guy" and mark mcleod you really give GA a pretty bad name. Our state should be honored to have such a wonderful role model to film and visit around Tybee with a smile always on her face. I'm very sorry Miley you would have to deal with this. You're a southern bell too. The south is supposed to be known for their kindness and hospitality. there are some of us that our so proud to have you and hope GA isn't on your bad list.

My prayers to the family and classmates.
I will always remember 'Duck' and the fun times we had playing baseball at Meridian. I often wondered where he went after High School and occasionally would get an update. I was shocked and saddened to see, as I read The Cairo Citizen this week, that the MHS class of 79 was missing another key member at their 30th reunion.
His memory lives on in all of us who knew him.
To "that one GAY in GA" - find yourself another place to Miley bash. I'm not feelin' you. Have can - will open!
