WHY did it take almost TWO HOURS before the child was reported missing? She should have been reported missing before 9:30 -- she was only 10-yrs old and should never have been allowed to walk alone that time of night.
How many kids have to die before parents LEARN to take better care of their innocent children >?>>?? TOO MANY SICKOS surround us all not to be overly safety conscious. |

Sadly, there are too many parents out there who don't do enough to keep their children safe. If you love your kids, you protect them. It sounds like this little girl had way too much freedom for her age. I hear she had a myspace page? SHame on the adults in this situation for not making sure this child got home okay. We can blame the abductors all we want but they will always be out there lurking. So it's up to the parents/adults to do the best we can to keep kids safe.
