This story just smells.

“”Francisco Escobar said that when he went to a police station to pick up a relative, he was asked whether his status was legal.””

If he were here legally he should have been proud to show his green card to separate himself from the illegal alien invaders.

The only ones that won't show their green cards or passport are those who have something to fear. Those here illegally or have a warrant out on them. When I am asked for my papers or passport here in the Philippines I show them for I am legal with nothing to fear. They do have a imergration problem here too just like the USA but not as many illegal.

I was born here, and I have no problem showing my I.D. What is it with these people? Maybe his green card was fraudulent?
