Review: A Prelude to the Classics Piano lessons by Marcy

Excellent piano teacher. Enthusiastic, motivational, fun, makes it easy to learn. My child is advancing beyond my expectations. Incredible credentials. Highly recommend Marcy.

My child has been taking private piano lessons with marcy for months and I cannot believe the way he is playing - it's like he has been playing for years. He can't wait to practice, and loves to go to her studio. She is fun and has a great sense of humor, while motivating my son to want to do his best. He has already performed in a recital which was beautifully done in a country club. My youngest child is now doing Marcy's new Child Prodigy Series, and loves going to the group. He also loves his own little baby grand piano in red! He plays on it all the time in his room. It's not too heavy, so we also move it to the family room to listen to him practice. And he is only 4!

I would highly recommend Marcy. She is fabulous credentials as well. What a unique teacher.

I would highly recommend Marcy as a piano teacher. She has done a tremendous job with my child, who had never played the piano before. She can read music fluently, understands the theory behind the music, and loves to play. She is playing at a level far more advanced than her friends who have been playing much longer. She is involved in selecting her piano pieces, and Marcy works with her in picking pieces she enjoys playing. Each lesson Marcy is enthusiastic and encouraging. My daughter can't wait to practice, and loves to go to her lessons. She would go daily if we had the time, and now takes several lessons per week. She is even considering music as a field of study for college. Marcy is innovative in her approach, and is fun to be around. She has fabulous credentials and plans out each lessons based on what my daughter has worked on during the prior week. I can't get over her advancement and love of the piano. I would highly recommend Marcy.
