Wow, so much has changed. We used to live in apts on Siesta Key for next to nothing. Work in town and go back to the beach in the evening. Of course, working folks have been run off the beach in recent years. All we had was Siesta Market on one end and Crescent on the other.

Folks today will never know the simple life we lived on Siesta Key 20- 30 years ago. You didn't have to be rich. A young person today will never have a chance to experience what living on the beach is like. Even back then, I knew what we had was very special. Sarasota 1980-2001 |
