Did I say anything about being her being misunderstood or proclaiming her innocence??..nope..reread my last comment. I said take it easy. Someone has their facts wrong again..*ignorance* She never intended to run away to Paris with her son, She was just about to be married, and settle in. Don't speak unless you know what you are talking about. Pasco Guy wrote: <quoted text> Yeah yeah yeah!! We've all heard this story before.. He/she was just misunderstood. This is a "good" person who doesn't deserve this! He/she is not responsible for what has happend... Yeah, we know the old speech... give it a rest, will ya?

NYC wrote: <quoted text> I am not the least bit surprised. She has done this before. The only difference is the last employer just fired her and chose not to prosecute. They just didn't think they had enough evidence to make it stick. Apparently this company does. How about a litte more info on the previous situation ??

Go back and read my post,My connection is being one of her closest friends...Now i know we do not always know everything about our friends, family, co-workers.. That's why they create shows about secret lives. I do know what kind of person she is...I do know that we haven't heard anything from her. I'm not waiting for some plea of innocence, i am waiting to hear her out. I love her and her son dearly. People do awful things but she isn't an awful person inside, Like i said before we are ALL trying to cope and come to terms with this situation. However if you don't know her and are not related to the situation you should have nothing to say. I wouldn't have had to say anything if people were being fair in the first place. I would think that if any of you were ever in trouble for anything you would want someone to be there regardless of what they "may" have done. I don't think they let you have your cell phone or PC in jail. There is NO fair in this life. I don't imagine that Breton considers it fair that she relieved them of a half a million of their dollars. Apparently you don't know your "closest" friend very well at all.

No, i believe i know her very well, unfortunatly when your friend "may" be stealing money they are not going to be so forth coming with that knowledge..Will they??? As far as the NYC thing goes, If detectives are involved i'm sure they are checking out all of her past jobs and history. If she has done something wrong i am sure they WILL find out.

I have thought of Breton, I have been to the office and had dinner with her and the Owners they seemed like very nice people... i do feel horrible all the way around. It's just an awful situation. But, 2 things: 1) These situations ultimately cost all of us, dollars and energy. 2)When most of us work or worked an honest job and it looks like somebody cheated, we're gonna pop off. If it were my friend, I'd probably do what you're doing. To a point.

Whether she is guilty or innocent, we just want to hear it from her. So we will wait for the trial. I know her friends and family are in complete shock right now. It is hard to come across comments on the internet about someone you love.(example: crackhead) It is those stupid comments that should not be said for those reasons under any circumstances!

She sure has made a mess out of her life...

As others have previously stated, this is a shock to family and to friends. I have known Annique for some time and when I found out I was quite litterally in shock and sick to my stomach.
Annique has never come off as unintelligent to me. She is an amazing mother and friend. She has ALWAYS been there for me.
I want to believe that she didn't do this but my gut tells me otherwise...

But, just for helping us all understand her and you, what would you think she did (or planned to do)with the money ??(If she did it, of course.)

I have known her for a long time, and I can honestly say that I'm not the least bit surprised. I didn't like her before, during or certainly after her last marriage. She has put a lot of people through a lot of unnecessary heartache. Classy, Annique... really classy. Hope Bubba treats you right.
