Why are Manatee County Commisioners approving new developments??

Why why why??? like a new one out East again on the corner of Lorraine and State Road 64? Why?
Is it just to please a few developers because they need something to do???? How about re-building what is already built and going down quickly all over the 2 counties....
County Commisioners maybe you should drive around...we all thought you just had a meet with community leaders (their the ones that should be in charge of all projects) and you were going to plan on really working on the areas like downtown???
We do not need another downtown out East....it is a ghost town out there focus my friends focus!
And since you approved another Wall Mart on 75 your out East downtown will ge going down down!!

It's cheeper for them to scrape down a wooded erea to a parkinglot then it is to pull permits on exsisting building's. I do no what you meen.

That is a "cop out"!!! We need to rebuild as John pointed what is already built period!!! And folks out Eest of 75 need to quit saying that "we are only minutes from the beach" that is an UNTRUE statement. It takes at the least a good 1/2 hour and then one has to drive through literally run down neighborhoods because the county is doing nothing about is and is probably getting kick backs from these lazy developers and then the real beach is on a barrier island and usually another 20 minutes away. So the "beach" is especially Siesta Key approx 1 hour away from anything out EAst as in Lakewood ranch..what a pretend just for a few developers to become rich on the backs of others!
