I really liked the article in the paper by Louisa Chappel. She sounds like someone with a head on her shoulders and exactly what we need at a time like this. Very decisive and at the same time not promissing "pie in the sky" results. And what's up with Escalera refusing to answer the questions? Does he not have any answers or is he afraid he will show himself ignorant? I honestly think the choice is clear for our next County Commissioner.

Luisa Chappel will make history and become the first female Guadalupe County Commissioner. Tapia seems to be a little too arrogant by refusing to answer the newspaper questions. I do not understand why anyone would vote for Tapia.

Ernest Tapia is no different then Mike Lucero. Both have a brain the size of a fly. And Mike Lucero won big the last time he ran Que Chingow !!!!!!!!!! That tells me a lot of the mentality of Santa Rosa people that vote. Do qualifications matter anymore ?

I fully agree with this comment. It is about time that we have a woman as a Commissioner in Guadalupe County. Louisa will make history. She is definetely much smarter and more qualified to be our next County Commissioner

If Vincent Cordova is backing Louisa Chappel, she lost my vote along with a whole bunch of Guadalupe County residents. He said in the paper not to long ago that he was backing Chappel or Barela. VOTE FOR TAPIA!!! We donít need 2 snakes in the grass, we already have one!!! TAPIA ALL THE WAY.

Vincent Cordova may back her, but she doesn't want or need to be associated with Cordova. She stands on her own and will work her hardest and honestly to better our county. Louisa Chappell IS NOT part of Cordova's click! VOTE LOUISA CHAPPELL!!!

As soon as we have a woman candidate, that is well qualified (L. Chappell) and is able to speak her mind, some people start calling her a "snake". That's not the only name that is used by Tapia when he talks to people about her. Louisa is focused on the issues. Tapia is name calling. Who should we vote for?

What could Tapia possibly have to offer the county? He's obviously a puppet of Bozo and who knows who else. All he's told people is that he needs the money more than Chappel does. Is that any reason to elect someone to that office, especially at a critical time like this?

Chappel has made her ideas and plans clear to us, in a clear and positive way. I don't see how any halfways intelligent person could vote for Tapia. If I had never known either candidate, the choice would be clear. Being that I know both candidates, quite well, there is no doubt in my mind who our county needs as our next County Commissioner.

I totally agree. Escalera is not even close to being a choice for me and my family. It would be his dad and bozo telling him what they want him to do

Yep we definately need change from top to bottom. Some seats are easy to fill than others. Take the mayors whos gonna run and who wants the stress, and whos up for that challenge ? But im with MRS CHAPPELLL , ALL THE WAY. SHES NOT GONNA BACK DOWN !!!!!!! As for Ernest Tapia lol, lmao omg thats a fricking joke, TAPIA WITHOUT BOZO IS LIKE MILK WITHOUT COOKIES . BOZO S ALREADY BEEN THERE DONE THAT SO YEP HE INSTRUCTS TAPIA THOSE ARE TWO PEAS N A POD THAT ARE WORTHLESS. We so need to recover from all this debt owed, and my opinion is cut jobs or and then wages. SAD AS IT IS THAT WILL MORE THAN HELP US RECOVER. POLITICS HAVE ALWAYS BEEN ODD , THE OLDER YA GET ITS NOTICED MORE, OF THE DIFFERENCES IN WHOS ON YOUR SIDEAND WHOS GONNA WORK FOR YOU NOT THEIRSELF. I THINK WE COULD AND SHOULD HAVE A LADY MAYOR NOW, BUT WHO ?????????? IVE TALKED TO A FEW BUT THEYRE NOT INTERESTED IN THE POSITION, WHICH I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND........GOD BLESS US ALL, AND GOD BLESS AMERICA.

One thing among your totally true post stood out to me. If someone runs for a public office for the paycheck, they are totally running for the wrong damn reason! Great post! Oh and 1 more thing, don't tell people everything that YOU think is wrong about your opponent. Tell the people how much YOU will try to make their lives better.
