Jose Campos for Lt. Governor is a joke

2 months and this looser will be wanting his mayor job back. This crook can't even keep his house in order, much less the state. Campos only experience is that he is a crook like the rest of nm politicians. 20k in his account will not be enough to get you to December.

This is not a good thing for Santa Rosa. He will continue to control that town to it's core. Get rid of him voters!!!

I don't know how many different Mayors, city council members, and other city leaders Santa Rosa has had since I left almost 30 years ago, but during the course of all these years I have visited SR annually. I have always associated coming back to SR much like time travel, aside from the wear and tear to the community’s appearance nothing ever really changed. Yes, improvements made to school buildings are noteworthy but the remainder of the city continued towards dilapidation. It wasn’t until the election of Mayor Campos that other notable improvements began occurring in SR.
Despite economic challenges and continuous slander thrust toward him, he has put SR’s best interest at the forefront and done what many past public servants have failed to do. Mayor Campos will leave his successor with a community in much better shape than he received; now if only his successor(s) will do the same.
Mayor Campos has made a visible positive impact. His tireless work to improve the community should be applauded by all. I commend him for his efforts and the work done in SR. I wish him success in his bid for Lt. Governor.

Where are the Waterslides Joe Campos?

To Where are the Waterslides: have you asked the other city council members where the water slides are? If it were up to Joe they would have been installed and attracting tourism/dollars in to the city a long time ago.

Why don't you ask SR leaders how it can afford to allow nepotism and wasteful spending? Better yet, ask what's really being done to combat the meth problem?

New baseball fields?... Oh yeah, their there

Santa Rosa and her politicians are a very corrupt city that has received
over 300 million in the last 12 years and zero accountability. Jose Campos
started with a small 12 table restaurant and now owns 8 city blocks near all
the new city upgrades. This guy owns the magistrate court building, 2
motels, trailer parks, 2 restaurants, property near the airport and now the
new hospital will also be built on Campos land as has the prison that Manny
Aragon worked on and the new school right next to the prison. All on Campos
land. Campos has lobbyist contributing to his campaign and not listed as
lobbyist. Campos wife is also the hospital administrator and the list goes
on. I haven't even gotten into the water slides and all the copper material
and other parts of the waterslide missing. There is also the fish hatchery
that has fishy things going on there as well.

So if your saying that 300 million is missing and there is nothing to show for it your blind. I am pretty sure new streets, brand new downtown, baseball fields, a hatchery and schools aren't handed out for free. If they were I doubt all of the city kids would be sitting in portables. Do you have children, grandchildren? I am sure if you do, that you are one of the first in the stands at the Little League games. You should be proud of your town instead of letting envy eat at you. I could see if Jose campos was driving a 200,000 car and living in a new mansion and the streets of santa rosa were crumbling, then you could have a reason to whine. Envy and jealousy can make you older than years and uglier than warts, at the rate your going you could be an old witch by halloween. Your digging for anything with nothing to back your accusations, if you keep digging so hard,you are going to fall out in China. Keep Digging.

While I would like to see Campos run I think he will be on a losing ticket.

He is going to have to run with Diane Denish and her close association with Slick Willie II the last 7 years will cost her dearly. Especially votes in the rural parts of the state that have, for the most part, been ignored by the Richardson administration.

The Rio Grande corridor from Santa Fe south get a $500 million dollar choo-choo that serves about .02% of the population so we taxpayers get to pay for it. Hatch gets a $250 million dollar "spaceport" that nobody from this state will ever use and, again, we taxpayers have to pay for it. The cities get freeway expansions and highway improvements, while those of us that live in the rural areas of the state, about 3/4ths of the total area and half of the population, have to drive on highways that are falling apart. The state cannot even keep decent lane striping on the roads so we can see where we are going on a rainy day, much less at night.

I've known Joseph for several years, I like the man personally, but if he jumps on the Denish bandwagon he loses my vote and I will support anyone that runs against either one of them. I don't care if it is Sam the dogcatcher from Roy, NM.

Campos is a man full of big dreams, empty promises, and inside out pockets. A perfect democratic nomination.

Campos briefly entered the 2nd Congressional District race in November 2007, but dropped out two days after he announced, saying a ruptured disc in his back needed immediate surgery that would have prevented him from campaigning. What will Campos excuse be this time? The heat is being turned up on this guy. His website looks like a fifth grader built it, with no security registration, no logo, and joe campos looks like Moses reading the ten commandments facing the north star. website is hard to find because he has no clue, this may help him.

I commend Joe for not falling for pig politics and antagonizing comments made by envious people. Joe has realized not to climb into the pig pen to wrestle the pig because it's going to get muddy.

Since when does Joe Campos no like the mud. Joe Campos has wrestled just about everyone in Santa in the mud. All of a sudden he don't like the mud. Office pools have him dropping out of Lt. Gov race by Feb 2010.

Lets look at the big picture. The mayor Jose Campos has the pizza ovens, walk in coolers, freezers, ice makers, etc. in his restaurant (crook #1) Tim the ex-City Manager has water pumps, watering his fields in PDL (crook #2) Jimmy made a good profit with the copper from the water slide and three months perdieum and over time.(crook #3) Glenn, I need to buy some trees. Now with all this equipment missing how in the world will Santa Rosa put up a water park? The city of natural lakes - oops crooks.

You all don't realize the whole world sees how malign you really are. The slander and animosity towards Joe seems as if it’s coming right from a third grade class. Here are some things to ponder: it's better to let people think your stupid than to open your mouth/write in a blog and remove all doubt.

Why do some Hispanics always try to put another Hispanics down when they appear to be successful? I've seen it among Hispanics all my life, it the crab in the bucket syndrome. It is this typical Hispanic behavior? Why can't Hispanics be like other races and position their people to be successful? The take away...failure is the root of envy!
