As an rape victim(I was 17 years old) of Clark Bennett's I think that there is poetic justice in this world. It couldn't have happened to a better person. If you call a liar, cheat, rapist, and a thief a good person.

Wish, Ive would of known you..The story's I could tell you of the fun Clark and I had, and some bad as well..Clark was such a good man,,I loved him, not as a lover, but more like a brother..I knew his heart, and I knew who he loved most..That was his Family...Was his judgement clouded? Yes..it was, But he meant well.I'm glad I have someone to back me up on how Clark really thought..

I remember rumors of rape, long ago, along with cameras in the ladies rest rooms with mics. The powerful in Bay county can commit ANY crime, the good old boys, thicker then blood.

I worked at Sharky's some years back. I can say that Clark always treated me fair to say the least(should have been fired a milliion times)! He was one of the only "bosses" I could really talk to like a true friend and he will be missed by me. If there's a Heaven I know you will be there and until then..........

Clark has had an effect on so many lives. As I read through the comments, I resonate with everything you have written. I met Clark on my 21st birthday (almost 20 years ago). Unlike Jane's experience, Clark swept me off my feet although, through the years, I saw all ends of the spectrum from him.(I'm so sorry Jane.)I never stopped loving Clark. I never stopped wishing, as many have, that he would someday actualize his potential and be the Man we felt he could be - the Man we saw beautiful glimpses of. Yes, Clark enjoyed helping people. He extended a hand to me during some tough times. Clark just never learned to follow through with his Heart. He loved as much as he could, based on where he was at with himself: Robyne, Renae and Kim were 3 that he cried to me about.
In the end, I noticed that Clark did something many people don't - he learned and he changed, if only slightly, he changed.
I won't miss the endless wanting, wishing and waiting however, I will miss the Joy he brought into my Life. He was always a phone call away and his voice made my Soul sing. I imagine he's now making alot of Angels sing too - and on waverunners with a cuervo marguerita in tow!*

Wasn't he a drug addict? It sounds to me like he had alot of dumb a@@ women. He sure did get around. I guess if you like the drugs and he kept you high, you would love him. Sorry, I don't feel sorry for drug addicts!!!
