Old Murder? Glen & Shevawn

Does anyone remember the murder of Shevawn Geoghegan in 1998. Glen Mason is in prison for it and I was wondering what happened. I knew Glen a long time ago.....

yeah, i've read the story quite a few times. i was just so surprised by this i was curious about more details or where glen is now....thanks for the info though.

He's probably still in jail...it can't be that hard to figure out where I'm guessing.

Well, you know it occurred in Santa Monica, so probably a jail around there...and since it was murder it'd be 25 to life probably...

you go to prison for this type of felony, not jail.

Glen mason also known as jason allen bailes is in prison, he received 2 life sentences for this murder. Also James Turned his codeffendant received a life sentence and his girlfriend on,y received 7 years, Elizabeth Magnam. She is out, her whereabouts are unknown.

My older sister's best friend used to date Glen here in Texas before he went to cali. He used to ask me if I wanted to die (I was 10!) per the Toadies song.
He hung in a hammock in the top of a tree in a nearby park trail and watched people. He was a creepy dude!
He is in prison for life for the murder.

I write to him, he's in prison in Cali.

Glen is one of my family members. He is serving two life sentences. What I am trying to figure out is did he really do it. He was a great kid. I loved him like a brother. He says he didn't kill her yet I really don't know the truth. I wish the truth was really out there.

You must not have known him around this time, because I can not imagine anyone who did questioning his guilt in this. S.G. lived in fear and told everyone that she knew socially that he was going to kill her for months leading up to her murder, and then it actually happened and continues to haunt us all, and bring great sadness.

To imply that he is potentially innocent of his torture and murder of a very young girl (who was around 13 when he began sleeping with her and him in his twenties, 14 when he helped kill her), because he was a great kid, or a nice childhood cousin of yours is truly disgusting.

Step back and review the trial and facts surrounding this murder. Drugs and power do funny things to sweet kids. Since you are family, Im sure you have access to this.

the young girl glen murdered was my cousin. all of those astragned kids should all get life in prison.

Hey, not sure who this is, but I knew Shevawn pretty well too. It's Ryan. I was friends with Eagle, Tannim, the Blot twins, yadda yadda. I live in SF as well now too, and I found this thread because I just lost a friend one week ago, and I decided to create a "People who died" photo section on my fb and I want that pic from her funeral procession paperwork, with the quote "May you be in heaven half an hour before the devil knows you're dead". She loved that one... While searching her name I found this post. Anyway, if you know or remember me, I'm actually up in Berkeley, and I haven't seen anyone from the Promenade in well over a decade.
