Investigations Into Two Santa Monica Murders Continue

I am quite incredulous to believe that somehow the male homicide victim here is not in some way, shape, or form not related to the Juliana Redding case.

Judging from what I understand about Juliana's nefarious associations.

This murder of a most likely innocent victim(Alexander Merman) was most likely committed by Juliana Redding's nefarious shall I say unseemly acquaintances.

And my sincerest condolences to the family of Alexander Merman.

And I pray that his murderers will face swift and quick justice.

And the death of Alexander Merman is much more heartbreaking.

How can one person's murder be any more or less heartbreaking than another's??? Please have some sympathy.

Um... Juliana's nefarious associations? WHO??? Greg Cipes LIED to all of you about who Juliana was. SHe was a beautiful, happy girl who worked as a model, actress and waitress. She even worked in a surf shop for a while. These cases are not related in any way. Juliana was an innocent victim as well. Those are just your ASSumptions.

Much more heartbreaking? So you friends with both? You were at Juliana's memorial yesterday while her father fought back tears speaking about his beautiful baby girl? Didn't think so! Have some respect for both of the SM murder victims. No one's murder should be compared to another's or given any more value. Both cases are being worked day and night.

Maybe get your facts straight before you make such bold statements.

I worked with Mernam at Markham Midle School. He was a good man. It's just sad to hear this happened. His students are going to miss him starting this monday when he was supposed to come back to work. RIP Mr. Merman.

No it isn't fun by the way to comment on the injustice's of society.

It's quite sickening to hear of all these disheartening cases.

But I guess you have a sick idea of fun.

And you call yourself of all things a Good Samaritan.

As someone who knew Juliana from high school, it hurts my feelings to see these comments. They are down-right discusting. Next time have more consideration, or if you can't do that, at least get your facts strait. Most of them are false or twisted to shine a bad light on Juliana that I know, and the rest who know her isn't there. Both murders are equally devastating for family and friends. Like Nathan said, no person's death is of more or less importance.

As someone commented earlier, good people die everyday.

And I see no reason for all this hoopla for a model that worked at a strip club.

God knows how she paid her rent of $1800 a month. Most likely, if the truth hurts you. She prostituted her body.

But Alexander didn't deserve to die the way he did.

I like I said before, my theory on how Juliana Redding died is probably from an overdose of cocaine or heroine.

And if the truth hurts.

Ummm.... that's what Greg Cipes said!!!! Can you confirm that? Everyone who knew her knew she wasn't a stripper!!! Somewhere someone mixed up tapas bar with topless bar and assumptions were made. and that creep Cipes has been asked to shut his mouth!!! She was a waitress, a model and an actress. and a real human, why attack a dead woman's character? and who are you to judge? find something constructive to do and leave her alone, let her family and friends grieve!

maybe if you read into the case you'd actually know what was going on! Juliana was MURDERED!!!! She was assaulted and her death was a result of blunt force trauma. She was a beautiful, religious girl who's friends weren't into the above mentioned drugs!!! She was human just the same as Merman. you need a life

She was a student at SMC and so, like many supportive parents, they helped her out with rent while she went to school and went after her acting dream. Juliana was in a committed relationship with a great guy and did neither drugs nor prostitute herself. Get over your theories,'cause they're only assumptions. A theory takes an educated guess, and you don't seem like the type who knows how to make an educated guess. The hoopla was because a.) it was the first murder in SM this year and b.) stuff like that just doesn't happen in SM. The truth doesn't hurt, your lies and slander do!!! If you had even bothered to read the police report.
There was no mention of blunt force trauma which were found on the body of Juliana Redding.

And in fact the results or toxicology results from the autopsy won't be revealed to the public for about 30 or 60 days.

And I theorize that the toxicology results will verify my theory of overdose of either cocaine or heroin which were the contributing factors in the death of Julian Redding.

And as far as having anything to fear in Santa Monica. I thought that I would have any fear walking in Santa Monica. You know the 3rd st. promenade and all.

I guess your not familiar with south central. That perhaps may strike fear. And I've worked in South central in the midst of that jungle.

Juliana was known throughout highschool as an amazing friend, family member, society membre etc. I dont remember ever hearing anything bad about her and each and every time I met her she was one of the nicest most outgoing gorgeous persons Ive ever met. She had so many friends in fact I think just about everyone in Tucson is mourning her death. I didnt know her well, but I have many friends who know her and her family very well. She was never a stripper, Cipes is trying to gain fame from this horrible tragedy. She was a beautiful girl full of life full of happiness, there were no drugs in her life, she didnt have time for that, there was no selling herself at a strip club or on the street, she was far too beautiful, a million dollars could not pay for julianas beauty and she knew that. For all of you making such horrible comments at her expense never had that once or twice experience that I had when I met her and for those who didnt be sad that she never touched your life...the reason you are all so ignorant and pathetic is because youve never met a person like juliana...someone who with one meeting or greeting can change your life for the better...for all of those who believe in her beauty and others like her...god bless...and for those of you who dont believe...start soon. You can defame anyone, but everyone makes mistakes no one is perfect, Juliana was damn close and her proud soul will protect her from all of you who are trying to tear her down!
