The Idaho State Police are performing a huge cover up for an officer that refuses due process, and denies citizens constitutional rights. What is a person supposed to do when it goes all the way to the Governor?

I was looking junk up on line and found the thing by The Grail. Don't you know anything, just pay them off like they want and they will get off your back. Pay them off, or they will get you in the end.

i f**** hate pigs, 95% of them are crooked.. i seen cops arrest my friend and threw him in there trunk and took him to the police station for nothing... also, a couple days ago me and my bf got raided and we had nothing to do with drugs and they stuck me in a holding cell for over 3 hours and left my bf in the holding cell for another 12 hours on top of the three. they just wanted us not to know how much money they stole when they raided the house.

Anarchy is what sucks. Sure we have lost a LOT of freedoms since the 80's. We can thank the gangbangers, prison gangs, pretty much every tricky dick lawyer, power hungry politicians and DA's, those that profit from wars on drugs and wars on terror and wars in general (not that some of those aren't necessary though), but most of all the apathy of the people.

I certainly don't blame the police, however. They do a job. They don't make policy. They enforce it. Plain and simple. Most of them are honest hard working men and women who do have integrity. Of course, a few go sideways. It's unfortunate. I certainly can't blame the many because of the actions of a few. That wouldn't be right. Seek policy change. Peace.

great comments unemployed WASP

COPS are only as good as the system they serve. Most cops are honest, but the system forces them to do things they shouldn't be doing.

There are more good cops than bad ones. I've been in law enforcement for over 10 years and in that time, I've seen 5 or 6 go bad - actually, I'd say they were bad before they got hired. Their actions and attitudes are just more prevalent when they put on a uniform because more people are paying attention to them... To say all cops are bad is like saying all blacks or hispanics are gang bangers. We shouldn't lump all of them into the same category... Nobody ever notices when a cop helps save someone from a house fire; the firemen always get the credit. Nobody ever notices when a cop holds the hand of someone who is badly injured in a car wreck until they either die or are extracted by the firemen/paramedics. Nobody thinks about how much an officer can give up (mainly his life) for a menial salary... This is a 24/7/365 job. Officers hands are tied by the laws that give criminals more rights than the victims. It get frustrating. They aren't allowed to talk about their day with their families and stress builds up. To explode and take it out on anyone is wrong, but their is so much testosterone in law enforcement that they are afraid to seek help... Those that can't handle it, do stupid things. They don't, however, pick on people that have never been involved in the system. They don't say, " today is a good day to screw with Mr. Law Abiding Citizen just because I can.".. Grow up people. If you commit crimes, it will eventually catch up to you and you will get a free ride to jail. If people in your neighborhood commit crimes, there should be a very visual police presence that is meant to not only catch the bad guys, but to protect the good.

The police in los angeles are more interested in saving their jobs when they make a mistake. They arrested me and my son during a family feud. They went to the alleged crime scene and took pictures, the pictures showed that we should not have been arrested but the detective called me and sid tht I know you are guilty. bottom line he never testified at the trial and I and my son were found not guilty. if he had admittedthat he was wrong I would not have had to spend $40,000.00 to defend the two of us. The trial took 4 days and the judge said that it takes $16,000.00 per dday to run his court room.

Just goes to prove that only the rich can get justice. All others get legal debt, or have to plea bargin and go to the slammer.
