My only problem is I'm sure Verizon will probably STILL outsource trouble shooting. I no longer have Verizon home phone service due to them only offering a phone number of an outsourcing house on the east coast run by middle eastern employees who cannot be understood. Once they repeated themselves several times and I seemed to grasp their words they began to walk me through the BASIC trouble shooting from "is your computer on" to "what system are you running" and ultimately five times I was told they would have someone come out to check the line. Lucky for me at a local coffee shop a Verizon line worker gave me a local phone number that gave me an english speaking person who helped me, which by then I was too frustrated and had them terminated my service. I understand to keep prices lower they are forced to take this route but sometimes it just doesn't work and you must realize there are certain avenues you cannot cut corners on.

This is exciting! I have numerous friends and family members who already have Fios in their respective cities and I have heard great things about it. Apparently Verizon is offering the package consisting of phone, the fastest internet speed available and television, all at a lower price than cable. This is a no brainer for the City of Whittier to allow this to take place.
